White Axolotl's. 🐟
What are Axolotl's? 🤔
Axolotl's are paedomorphic salamander closely related to the tiger salamander. It is unusual among amphibians in that it reaches adulthood without undergoing metamorphosis.
They are a cold water species and can only go with each other. Their diet consists of Bloodworm, or an Axolotl pellet.

Black Moor. 🐟
From the Fancy Goldfish variety, Black Moor's are commonly recognised from their big eyes and their deep black, velvety metallic scales. They can live between 10-15 years on average, and grow around 7-8". Always remember to feed Black Moor's on a Sinking Goldfish Pellet to avoid Swimbladder. 🐟

Black Phantom Tetra. 🐟
Black Phantom's make a stunning appearance in any tropical aquarium, with their grey/black shimmering bodies. They have a distinctive black and blue stripe on their side, and the males display a higher and darker top fin. They are perfect shoaling fish, they only grow to around 3-4", and can live up to 5 years.

Assorted Oscars. 🐟
We now have a mixture of Red, Albino Red, Tiger, & Albino Tiger Oscars available. They are very active fish and really stand out with their red markings. They are currently 3-4" in size, however they can grow up to 14". They are not typically recommended for community tanks, but will go with other larger Cichlids (e.g. Convicts, Jack Dempseys, etc).

Gold White Cloud Mountain Minnow. 🐟
GWCMM are beautiful smaller fish, which display blue eyes, a white body and red fins. They can be kept in tropical or temperate aquariums, and are a hardy species. Only growing between 1-2", they are perfect in small or larger groups.

Santa Mickey Mouse Platy. 🐟
Did you know they were given the name 'Mickey Mouse Platy' because on the tail area, the black dots look like Mickey Mouse's face 🥹. They're a very popular tropical Platy fish, with a beautiful variety of white, black and red colourations. They're a peaceful community fish and are a great starter fish, and roughly grow around 2".

Reed Fish/Rope Fish. 🐍🐟
NEW at Waterside Aquatics, Reed Fish are snake-like species, which are popular with their unique enthusiasts. They're nocturnal species and are most active during the night, and their diet consists of meaty frozen feeds e.g. Bloodworm, Brineshrimp, Mysis etc. They're best kept with bigger fish, they can grow around 50cm/20", and can live around 15-20 years!

Penguin Tetra. 🐧🐟
They were given the name 'Penguin' due to their recognizable black stripe, which begins behind their eye and goes all the way down their body. They are also easily spotted by their unique swimming style; instead of swimming horizontally, they swim in a partially upright position. They only grown between 2-3" and have a lifespan of 3-5 years. They are perfect in bigger schools, they are active and friendly swimmers, and are excellent community members.

Bamboo Shrimp. 🦐
Bamboo Shrimps are filter feeders and they use their 'fans' to extract food, which you can see from the video clip! They also use their 'fans' to hold them against the current to catch food and move them to their mouths to eat it. They normally display a reddish-brown colour and can grow up to 2-3 inches.
