Hey Alvaro! My new buddy for 10 days.

His problem is mild reactivity to other dogs that causes issues to walk him. Not all dogs but randomly he chooses to growl and lounge on others. Recently he wanted to nip to a neighbour that never had an issue before.

Owners are going on holiday so they want to enjoy quality time without thinking about the dog's bad behaviour.

We already had a few sessions and he likes me. He loves playing so I will mainly focus on obedience. That will help to control his behaviour and improve communication with the dog.

How can you improve your games with a dog?

It's much easier than you can think! Video from one of Ember's training sessions.

Before - Ember suffered from fear based aggression. She was anxious and outside was a scary place. On playing time Ember was separated from the owner and they both didn't work as a team. They didn't have a report, feedback, or communication. I wouldn't say that they enjoyed either.

After- we turned their game into a fun and enjoyable time together. Loads of small words, encouraging moments, emotions helped unite both of them. The game was structured by obedience and that helped to improve communication and gave feedback.

Seems no big changes but the outcome is different. These small changes improved Ember's behaviour and helped with issues.

Do you have walking issues with dog? Here is Luna's training.

Luna came with walking issues. She not just dug concrete with nails but all her body position was always curved from pulling. The owners weren't able to walk her much. They have young kids and a baby in a pushchair so her pulling made walks not possible. They didn't want nice HEEL walking, they needed just that she stopped pulling and started listening outside. They wanted simple and nice walks together!
