Little Angels Staffie Rescue Little Angels Staffie Rescue is dedicated to saving staffies lives from destruction and giving them the best possible chance of finding loving homes.

Little Angels Staffie Rescue (LASR) is a non profit organisation caring for abandoned, abused and unwanted Staffordshire Bull Terriers. We formed in 2011 after my Grandma sadly passed away. She had a passion for all breeds of dogs and with my little bit of inheritance we decided to help the breed we felt needed us so desperately. I have a strong passion for staffies and have felt this way since I

was a little girl.Our aim at LASR is to save staffies from pounds and rehabilitate them, give them love affection, a warm bed and healthy food in their tummies. It is only through our dedicated supporters, like you, that this is all possible. We have a strict non destruction policy. We believe in understanding a dog’s behaviour and working with them until they are rehabilitated. Any dog which isn't suitable for home life will stay here with us at Little Angels for the rest of their natural life. All our dogs leave Little Angels neutered/spayed, vaccinated, wormed and chipped. We always accept our dogs back into our rescue if for whatever reason a home doesn't work out. Here is just a handful of our angels under our care at the moment …. Although we are a small rescue we have dogs who have ongoing medical needs and the cost of the vets is just a nightmare even with discounts .. all our dogs are neutered / spayed and vaccinated and microchipped and flead and wormed and we have to cover their electricity/ water / bills for the kennels etc and we have to cover transport runs to get our angels to safety when needed .. we have to maintain and repair the kennels at times … we have constant outgoings even down to washing powder to wash their blankets and keep them fresh…washing up liquid to wash their bowls, cleaning products to keep the kennels clean and fresh … it’s the little things that get forgotten..
We struggle on daily as that’s what rescues do - I always try and keep pennies in the pot to make sure the bills are always paid and the angels always have what they need and yes I do want my dogs to have the luxuries whilst here in rescue as in my opinion that’s the least they deserve ..
we don’t really get any donations from Amazon anymore… we don’t get donations of food anymore really so I buy all the dogs food from the donations we get given … any dog food we do get given we are so grateful …
We are always in need of blankets and toys and treats for the dogs ..
Even down to black sacks and poo bags - we use these at the rescue daily - I bag everything and I try and keep their areas as clean and hygienic as possible ..

Times are hard everywhere and I know this and I know my angels are no more important than any other dog needing help and support .. but we do need to keep our funds coming in so that we can stay in a position where we can slowly continue and keep saving lives whilst still be able to afford the ones we have under our care ..

To be honest with how the rescue world is right now I’m exhausted - mentally and physically and it’s nothing to do with the dogs - they are still and always will be my passion … but the other side to rescue and all that so many of us decent rescue have to watch and go through its heartbreaking and it seems never ending … and trust me .. none of us want to ask for anything .. but sometimes we don’t have that choice ….

If you are in a position where you could maybe offer up your chocolate 🍫bar today or at least your coffee.. it would mean a lot but even if you could share 🙏 maybe someone else may donate a £1 to help us …

Prince has been out and about today again learning as he goes …. He did really well with his treats today and is learning that he must take treats gently instead of trying to rip mummies fingers off thinking they are cocktail sausages 😅💙 So proud son 💫
