Little Angels Staffie Rescue Little Angels Staffie Rescue is dedicated to saving staffies lives from destruction and giving them the best possible chance of finding loving homes.

Little Angels Staffie Rescue (LASR) is a non profit organisation caring for abandoned, abused and unwanted Staffordshire Bull Terriers. We formed in 2011 after my Grandma sadly passed away. She had a passion for all breeds of dogs and with my little bit of inheritance we decided to help the breed we felt needed us so desperately. I have a strong passion for staffies and have felt this way since I

was a little girl.Our aim at LASR is to save staffies from pounds and rehabilitate them, give them love affection, a warm bed and healthy food in their tummies. It is only through our dedicated supporters, like you, that this is all possible. We have a strict non destruction policy. We believe in understanding a dog’s behaviour and working with them until they are rehabilitated. Any dog which isn't suitable for home life will stay here with us at Little Angels for the rest of their natural life. All our dogs leave Little Angels neutered/spayed, vaccinated, wormed and chipped. We always accept our dogs back into our rescue if for whatever reason a home doesn't work out. 🕊️ New Angel Arrival: Meet Rubble 🐾

Say hello to our latest little soul in need – Rubble, a six-month-old Staffie cross with long legs and a d***y donkey charm that’s impossible not to love! 🐶💙

We got the call from a vet – his owners were requesting euthanasia, claiming he was food aggressive in the crate. He arrived growling, snarling, and utterly terrified. But as with many cases like this, the truth was buried under fear and misunderstanding.

Rubble wasn’t aggressive – just petrified. Especially of being in a crate. It’s taken a few days to earn his trust, but bit by bit, we’re making progress. And under all that fear? A sweet, silly, eager-to-please boy is starting to shine through.

In the paddock, Rubble bounces like a spring lamb – totally unaware of his size and strength! 😂 We’ll be working on boundaries and self-awareness, but we know everything that’s happened to him can be unpicked, piece by piece, with patience and love.

He’s also nervous of people – unsure whether to expect kindness or harm – so gentle, positive interactions will be key. We want him to learn that he’s safe now, that humans can be trusted, and that he no longer has to protect himself at every turn.

🦴 So please give a warm welcome to Angel Rubble! He’s been with us for just over two weeks now – saved from certain death – and finally has the chance to become who he was always meant to be.
