Ben's family is so grateful to all who sent good wishes and made donations to help to save him after his acid incident. They wanted to share this update with you.

You may remember Olive found at 2 weeks old with her sibling in a garden shed .
Olive had a very serious eye infection which resulted in her losing her left eye
Olive made a very brave full recovery and is understandably very close to her sister .
She has during her time with her fosterer enjoyed the pleasure of an enclosed garden where she loves to chase the flies and play with her sister .

We are looking for a very special adopter who lives in a very quiet location that will enable Olive to enjoy being outside but not vulnerable to traffic .
Her fosterer feels it would be unfair to allow freedom to Sweetpea and restrict Olive to a life indoors / catio is not what we wish for her .
She loves to catch flies and play with her sister .

She is a gorgeous girl, who is playful and loves to rub round your legs for affection. She can get a little overwhelmed with love still, and will warn you when she has had enough gently, so we feel teenagers who can read her and respond to her needs would be best.
She will make a fabulous companion with the right mix of play and love

Here is the reality of Rescues across the uk right now.

We are currently inundated with black or
black and white cats and kittens.

We simply cannot take more cats and kittens in who need our help, until more people consider adopting these overlooked cats.

Here are just some of our overlooked cats including very young kittens. If they were ginger or grey we could have rehomed them 10 times over.

We would like to thank West End Woofs for giving our local rescue the opportunity to be part of their event. Elaine Page and Christopher Biggins were absolutely amazing and we’re hoping Elaine will adopt one of our lovely rescues. This event is about raising awareness of adopting rescue animals. We met some amazing volunteers from other rescues too. Money raised at this event is then split between all the attending rescues. We hope we are lucky enough to be invited back next year 🐈‍⬛☺️
