An URGENT PLEA from all of us at Peterborough Cat Rescue and àll of the cats and kittens in our care.

As you know we are well into KITTEN SEASON !!!!
Aswel as the kittens we have so many adult cats in aswel. We are really struggling in the demand food and litter, with having so many mums and babies, kittens, adults/tom stray cats , aswel as all the cats which people sign over to us as they can no longer keep them due to change of situations, yes we are happy to help but with the cost of vet bills, food litter has gone up so much that we need your help please.
I know we say this all the time but it is true We have never had so many cats/kittens needing our help,
I know some people will say, don't keep taking kittens, mum's and babies and cats in, if we dont where will they go, what can we do if they are just dumped somewhere or are in a dangerous situation.
To those people I am asking please don't make comments like that, please consider helping this amazing rescue by donating a little bit of kitten/cat food or litter woodchip. We are just asking for help with what ever you can afford to donate. Please help us to help these furbabies. poultry in Jelly meat would be amazing.

Could we give a polite reminder.
If you are thinking about leaving the country and you have cats please do not ring a few weeks before your leaving date expecting we will be able to take them as our rescue is always full we do not sit with any space and we have to home before we can take in and we always have a waiting list. I know there is always unexpected circumstances but we need as much notice as possible so even when you are just thinking of going to give us as much time possible to find space or we cannot guarantee any space at all for your cats.
This is the reality of rescue at this present time.

We are full to the top once again and could we ask you to bear with us if you have not had a reply from a message you may have sent regarding stray cats, we simply cannot take any in as all of our cattery and foster spaces are taken and until we home to free up space all we can do is add to our waiting list, this is not how we want it to be but sadly with kitten season in full flow too our little rescue can only do so much thank you

A massive thank you to Sharron Toms, Community Champion for Tesco, Serpentine Green. Peterborough Cat Rescue received £1000 today from their bingo fundraising. This is a massive help with our vet bills during this busy kitten season.

This Saturday

PCR have a massive clothes sale at this event. All clothes are size sorted on separate tables and all on the tables will be priced at £2 each or 3 for £5. There are some great brands and some bargains to be had…

Bring a friend, enjoy a home made cake and a coffee.
Who knows what other items you will find at the car boot too!
