Meet Jock. 🤩
A fun loving cute ball of energy. Jock came to visit me today and got small trim up and a bath. He sat beautifully for me whilst I trimmed around his wee face and paws and enjoyed his little pamper. 🥰

He also loved our little play in the garden whilst we waited for his owner to collect him as you can see.

Don’t normally groom cats however we went to see this lovely girl on Sunday, 19 year old smudge who had a little helping hand with her long coat. 🐈

Had a super few days being back in the doggy world. 🐶
There little souls are incredibly beautiful and sensitive, I love working with each and everyone of them.

What to expect on their first appointment as I explain to every owner I take a lot of time to work with each doggy that visits. We have a little chat and focus on what I’m going to do for them. Before I even start there’s lots of connection so we can build up a trust before we begin.

It’s really important for your dog to feel safe and secure so we have a pleasant and enjoyable experience together.
When I groom I allow them to smell each piece of equipment so they have an understanding on what they are and know what we are using will not hurt them. 🥰

For the first appointment I will not cut them down too short this is because they can get really anxious if they don’t like the sound of something or the feeling of the equipment. I like to trim them with scissors for the first session to allow them to gain trust and for us to build a bond. This all helps with giving them the security and trust in what you are doing.

This is the same for nail cutting most dogs struggle when you go near there feet there little paws are super sensitive and they can get can really nervous. I cut a little off each time.

This really works wonders going nice and gentle, for myself as a groomer it’s all about building up the trust and connection so we can gain a friendship and enjoy our grooming session together. 🥰🐾

Over time they become more confident and know that where they are at is a safe place, each dog is different and it’s important for me to learn and allow them to feel safe and secure.

It’s all about getting to know them and for your dog know me to enjoy their personalities and temperaments. 🥰🐶🐾

Doggy Wash & Go Services. 🐾

One of our current treatments that’s being offered at the moment, offering a 12 week washing and skin care programme, natural shampoo used and towel drying. Keeping your pooch smelling beautiful and helping the skin breathe along the way. 🐶

(Some clients do like this service every 4 weeks as well as 12)

Had our little friend in with us yesterday for a little doggy pamper. 🥰🐶🐾

As always Scooby is a delight to work with + he loves all his doggy treats he gets when he comes to visit. 🥰

We are back working very slowly with our doggy pals, at the moment I am offering wash + go, nail trims + brushing for just now.

I will however start back the doggy grooming again in the near future.

I just would like to say a huge thank you for your patience whilst I came to terms with the loss of Winston. Diary is back open for the services mentioned if you’d like your pup to be booked in or have any questions please feel free to pop me a message.

It’s with a heavy heart we loose our special little boy. 🌈🐶
I’m going to be take some time off grooming for a week or so until I wrap my head around this sudden loss of my youngest boy. I will keep you updated on when I’ll be returning and will reopen my dairy. Those who are already booked in have gotten a message from us and will still be honoured.

Will be back on my feet soon, I’d like to take this time to thank you all in advance for your understanding and support during this time.

Hello Everyone 😊
I am now back from our little camping adventure, we had the best time out in nature admiring the scenery around Scotland and plenty of walkies for our wee doggies. 🐶🐶

Out for some well earned walkies this morning. We are slowly slowing down and getting ready for our holidays which starts on Friday 4th August.
We love to be out in nature, even our little Daisy who struggles to walk far now with her sore legs, so we compromised with a set of cute trendy wheels to make sure she enjoys her time outside in the fresh air 🥰.

Anyone else have a doggy pram for your poochy pals? 🐾🐶🦴
