We would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and to say how much we are missing you all and your beautiful doggies. Eric still has a hole in his back from the sepsis and can only walk/balance with crutches. He is in a lot of pain most of the time. I don’t know if or when we will open again as I am still busy being his full time carer. Anyway we hope you all have a fab time and enjoy the festivities 🎄🎅🏻🥂 ###

I passed my training with flying colours and Eric got home this afternoon. He is doing well but his body has a lot of healing to do and he will have regular visits to the hospital to check all is doing ok. Hope you are all well ###

Eric is doing very well. He is managing a wee walk with his new crutches and the pain is not so bad. We are looking to get him home later next week but I have to go in and do some training first. He is on 3 antibiotics which go into a cannula, they will change 2 of them to tablet form but 1 must stay the way it is….that is where my training comes in. We will have a few days going back and forth to Aberdeen as they need to check his wound as he still has a drain in but that is fine….the main thing is he will be home. So, nurse Buchan will be my new title for the next 9 weeks 😂. I have told Eric he is due me a lovely holiday once he feels better 😂. Hope you and your doggies are all doing well….missing them all so much ###

Me again. Eric’s op went well last night. He is looking better today so here’s hoping. It’s going to be a long recovery after what he has been through but he is a fighter ###

Hi everyone. I am so sorry I haven’t put anything on but Eric has needed a lot of looking after. Unfortunately he had to be rushed through to ARI this morning. He is getting an operation tonight so we are praying all goes well ###

Eric is finally home. He has been through a lot…had 3 types of sepsis at the same time and made it through, he is so very lucky. He is very tired and very sore. It’s going to be a long road to recovery but knowing him he will get there. Thank you all for your prayers and kind thoughts, they are very much appreciated 🥰 ###

Hi everyone, just a post to let you know how Eric is getting on. They opened him up on Thursday and discovered a heap of dead tissue in a muscle on his back which was causing the sepsis. He had some removed and has been back down to theatre twice since. They did keep him sedated and ventilated. Thankfully today when they took him into theatre they were happy with him and stitched him up. They have taken him off the ventilator and he is breathing on his own. He is very confused at the moment which is to be expected with being sedated for so long and having the sepsis. I will keep you updated when I have more news ###

Ok guys, here goes. I am broken hearted to let you know that Eric is very ill. He has sepsis and is on a ventilator and is sedated. Obviously I need to temporarily close until I know what is going on with him. I have no idea how long this will be and I am so sorry…..I know Eric will be too but there is nothing I can do about it just now. As soon as I know when we are opening again I will be in touch. I will be in the hospital today but at home all day tomorrow when I will be in contact with anyone who has not liked, commented or private message me…..again I am so sorry ###
