Paws Rescue UK has been founded as a platform for Paws Rescue Qatar to rehome beautiful homeless cats and dogs in Qatar to wonderful homes in the UK. Abandoned animals in Qatar are abundant with many leaving their pets behind or purchasing them from local unauthorised breeders, or from the local souq (market), and getting bored with them soon-after. We have a shelter in Qatar brimming with adorabl

e babies just waiting for their chance of a home. We are left with many pure-breed, special needs and mixed breeds to rehabilitate and find homes for, many of whom would never get a chance in Qatar and deserve a chance elsewhere. Our goal is to help animals regardless of what country they are born in. Anyone interested in adopting one of our cats or dogs posted on Facebook will be asked to complete an enquiry form so we can match you with a suitable pet. A home check will be arranged and if all is approved, a reservation fee to hold your animal will need to be paid. A travel date will be confirmed, balance of adoption fee will be paid, and the animal will fly! Then there's an initial vet check and stay at Bray Rescue or a foster and a liaison on pick-up or drop-off depending on location. Please contact us for more information.

Are you looking for a loving, gentle feline friend? Meet Willow, a gorgeous 4-year-old domestic longhair with a heart as soft as her fluffy coat.

Willow is sweet-natured, affectionate, and loves to snuggle. She gets along well with other cats, making her a wonderful addition to a cat household. Ideally, she would thrive in an indoor home with secure outdoor access, where she can explore safely while staying close to her humans.

Unfortunately in her four years, she hasn’t had the best life, basically has been left outside to fend for herself.

Help Bria Take Her Next Steps – Fundraiser for Her Surgery

Bria’s journey has been one of resilience and hope. This beautiful 8-year-old German Shepherd/Canaan mix was rescued in Qatar as a grown girl and had clearly suffered a terrible leg injury.

X rays revealed a plate had been fitted in her leg—possibly from an old break as a pup—and over time, her leg became deformed as she grew 🫣

Paws Rescue Qatar did everything possible to help her, including corrective surgery, before she found a loving home in the UK.

For nearly a year now, Bria has been cherished by her new mum, who has done everything she can to help her live a happy life. But despite all efforts, Bria is was struggling more than ever. Her leg was causing her constant pain, making it difficult for her to move comfortably.

After consulting with specialists, it was clear that the best way forward was amputation, so she could finally live pain-free and enjoy the life she truly deserves.

Bria had her surgery a few days ago, it was a success but she's a little disoriented and it will take time to heal and rehabilitate.

We need your help to contribute to the the costs of her surgery and aftercare. Bria has fought so hard to get where she is, and we won’t give up on her now.

With your kindness, she can move forward without pain and embrace her future as a strong, happy, and active dog.

Theia and Rhea are two bonded girls needing a home. They are friendly, totally dedicated to each other. We have a flight into Heathrow on 14 February and they could be on it. Otto is transfixed by the gymnastics! He loves to play and also to cuddle. Otto is around 2 years old and will fly from Qatar to the UK around end September. He’s fully vaccinated, chipped and neutered and FIV/FELV negative. He’s normally a big fluff ball but we had to shave off his fur which was horribly knotted. Heart warming alert ❤️❤️❤️🐶🐶🐶 Our fantastic pups are all waiting for their forever homes. All are siblings and coming up to 6 months. We are in the process of ratt testing them all and soon enough they will be ready to fly! Please consider adopting one of these beautiful babies (Tink, Ariel, Minnie, Tink, Lady and Maui) all our dogs are fully tested for tick diseases as well as Brucellus and are fully vaccinated chipped and neutered / speyed pre travel. This is Kate and for those of you that have adopted cats from us, you know I look after cats! Every now and then a dog just pulls my heart strings, like Bria… I am reaching out because of this gorgeous girl who has had no adoption interest at all, and personally I don’t know why as she’s the dog of the decade! Bria has a funny leg but she will hop over her gate to come and say hello. She’s incredibly affectionate, she’s great on a leash, she likes other dogs and people. She makes you feel like you’re the only one, that’s a pretty good skill to have. We’re not sure what she’s like with cats but she’s been fine walking by them. She doesn’t have a bad bone in her apart from her dicky leg, which is a bit bent and short but she uses it like any other dog would do. She’d be a great companion, her leg is as fixed as it’s ever going to be but that’s part of her charm. We have partnered with Bray Rescue based in Staffordshire in the UK who will temporarily house our lovely animals once they travel, and will facilitate with the adopters. We are also aiming to form a strong foster network in the UK to help further. Our goal is to help animals regardless of what country they are born in. All deserve the chance of life! Anyone interested in adopting one of our cats or dogs posted on Facebook will be asked to complete an enquiry form so we can match you with a suitable pet.
