It's a difficult post to make as we know that this might impact several dogs in need but despite a team of 14 therapists over 3 clinics we are at full capacity through until Christmas.

To ensure patients who are registered with us, or in the process of arranging referral to get the appointments they need we are pressing the pause button on accepting new referrals.

We’re thrilled to announce a new partnership with new MyVetsy to expand access to veterinary care for pets and families who may face challenges accessing a traditional clinic. 🐾

This new online service is designed to complement the support we as pet owners already receive from your local veterinary practices, providing an option for those needing remote access to veterinary care, injury recovery support, and chronic pain management—all from the comfort of home. 💻

We've had a few clients trial the MyVetsy service over the last few months and they have only reported positive experiences. Chief Pet Officer and principle Vet, Dr Charlotte Gray, has also been to visit our clinic in Petersfield so understands how we interact within the Veterinary care sector.

Whether you choose to see a local vet, or an online Vet like MyVetsy our goal remains the same: to collaborate with local vets to ensure every pet has the best possible care.

The important thing here is "local"; MyVetsy vets are based in the area, practice at local clinics, and they only accept clients from our catchment area to ensure issues that need to be seen by a Vet in person can be done so.

If getting to a vet in person isn’t feasible then online consultations offer a way to get the guidance you need while keeping your primary veterinarian in the loop. ❤️🐶🐱

How does a free massage sound? Not for humans though, for your wonderful dogs.

We are training the next generation of massage therapists for dogs and need lots of dogs for students to test their skills. Overseen by a very talented Veterinary Physiotherapist your dogs will be in safe hands.

Dogs needed for 30 minutes to 1 hour between 10am and 4pm on the 15th, 16th, 28th and 29th October. Sessions held at our Petersfield clinic.

Bringing Sarah on to the team, combined with a few other changes in the roster allows us to add an extra 25 hours a week of clinical expertise for your so that they get the care they deserve at a convenient time and location for you.

⚠️ PETERSFIELD : ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE ⚠️

We've become aware that Stoner Hill will be closed from 23rd September to 26th September - 09:30 to 15:00 each day.

The official diversion route will take you on the A272 to Meon Hut, North up the A32 to Hedge Corner, and back in to approach from the West. This adds 15 minutes to your journey

An alternative route is to take the signed exit for 'Froxfield Green' from the A272 just outside of Langrish, and follow the country lanes to approach Stoner Hill Road and our centre from the South. This route adds 10 minutes to your journey.

We're a bustling network of Animal Therapy Clinics with a long waiting list of clients eager for best-in-class care. We're looking for a dedicated Veterinary Physiotherapist to join our team on a self-employed or employed basis. You'll be working across our three Hampshire clinics, based primarily at our Portsmouth location within a veterinary practice, with regular visits to Wickham and Petersfield. You'll also provide mobile home visits, so a car is essential 🚗.

What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: University degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy.
- Membership: Must be a member of IRVAP, RAMP, ACPAT or NAVP.

We had the most wonderful email this week from a past client and owner of the lovely Freya.

Freya was a complex case having been temporarily paralysed (thought to be through a rare tick bite) as a puppy, she lost significant muscle mass in her hind legs to the extent her patella's (knee caps) were sliding in and out of their groove. Freya was a very ill girl.

On referral from the Freya's owner was incredibly dedicated to her Rehab and together with our team devised an intensive physiotherapy and hydrotherapy recovery programme to teach her to walk again, rebuild muscle and strength, and be able to live her best life.

We're super proud to reveal that Leanne Bird, our Clinical Director, has co-published an article with Queen's Veterinary School Hospital, QVSH and distributor "The Big Dog Bed Company" on the use of specialist and tailored graded orthoses.

Also featuring the lovely "Macky" a Boxer from one of our incredibly dedicated owners and supported by The Boxer Rescue Service - Southern who's making leaps and bounds (not too much Macky!) thanks to a tailored fit orthotic.

Orthotic fitting is one of our specialist services available at our Branches in Petersfield, Wickham and through our clinic at St Peter's Vets - Farlington.

Wow. Today is our 5th Birthday! 🥳

Over the last 5 years we've delivered over 20,000 treatment sessions for over 1,200 different across and .

📢 We are thrilled to announce that there is a new member of The Canine Fitness Centre Family 🐾

Today, Hydrotherapy Four Paws in Wickham starts its new journey as one of our full service Veterinary Rehabilitation centres.

It's a serendipitous moment as this Centre is where our founders Tom and Leanne also had starting points in their journeys. Tom first discovered Hydrotherapy here for his Labrador and Leanne was a physiotherapist at Four Paws early in her career too.
