Doggie Day Camp - Cardiff Doggie Day Camp offers unique daytime dog care, collecting your dog from your home and drop them back when the day is over.

We have 7 acres of pasture land for the doggies to explore all day long!

Today ted turns 5!
We celebrated with ball throwing, zoomies, snuggles and party bags! (Some of the best bags we’ve ever seen!)
Ted is a big character here at camp, he absolutely loves coming and really isn’t afraid to use his voice to shout and show how happy he is. He’s your typical lab, sometimes full of energy and sometimes enjoys being lazy. He’s best friends with Gruff Labrador and has taken a fancy to Nacho Cocker Spaniel (but she plays hard to get). Ted’s your typical goofy big lug and we love seeing his personality shine through.

Welcome Judo to the DDC family! Such a handsome boy😍
Judo’s settled in really well at camp and has found his feet (and voice) whilst gaining confidence making new friends.
Only 10 months old he’s FULL of beans and absolutely loves running around (he’s super super fast) and playing chase. He’s become good friend with Gruff cockapoo, they absolutely adore wrestling with each other.
132/10 for playfulness and speed😍

Today is a sad day at DDC, today is Dougal and Pippins last day at camp! Unfortunately they’re moving and can no longer attend! 😭
This is especially sad as Dougal has been with us since the very start (swipe to last photo to see Dougal’s first day at DDC all the way back in 2018!)
Dougal truly is the bestest boy and has been such an amazing camper, he’s such a sweet good boy.
Pippin is only 10 months so has only been with us a short while, but he’s made such an impact on us. He’s such a happy and playful big, always so excited to see us, be at camp and play. He’s such a sweet boy and is so dang cute.
We even had an old friend, Aunite Carys pop in to say goodbye too!
We will truly miss both Dougal and Pippin, but we wish them and their pawrents the very best with their move🏡
We’ll miss you❤️

Today we celebrated Rollo who turns 2 on Sunday!
Although we’ve had all weather today, sun, rain and even hail, that didn’t stop us from doing his favourite things, wrestling, playing and running!
Rollo is a funny character here at camp, he’s full of energy and personality and is ALWAYS happy to play with anyone! He’s become really good friends with Freddie Vizsla, Arlo Cockador and Gruff Lab. Rollo is always so happy to see both humans and other campers but gives extra big bum wiggles when Mam or Dad (and especially Nanna) picks him up from camp. We absolutely adore Rollo and have loved seeing him grow from a tiny pup to the handsome young man he is.

Today we celebrated Stevie who turns 1 on Saturday!
Although it was a grey, foggy day, we celebrated with a lot of ball throwing, chasing and A LOT of snuggles.
Stevie is such a little character, she absolutely adores coming to camp and is so full of personality for such a small dog. She’s a bit sassy, a bit feisty, a big snuggler and is such a cutie, we absolutely adore her. She’s such a fun, happy girl and is always so playful and full of energy, we just know she goes home from camp absolutely pooped!

Meet the inspiration..

Hugo was only 12 weeks old when we bought him and I worked full time. I also lived in an apartment which meant Hugo was on his own for the majority of the day until I visited him every lunch time. For me this meant rushing home every day from work and checking on him (bumping my car in the mean time!). I lived on my own and my family all had their own lives and full time jobs. I knew I couldn’t rely on them as it wouldn’t be fair!

In the end I decided I needed someone to look after Hugo but no one in my area offered all day care, only an hour walk which worked out very expensive!! Dog walkers charged £15-£20 for an hour, to me this was a lot of money just for an hour a day. I also needed all day care for Hugo , the thought of him on his own, bored all day worried me! In the end I thought there is obviously a market for this type of service, surely other people are in the same situation as me?

Doggie Day Camp only charges £20 for a 6 hour day! We have a fully insured, crated van that picks up your dog in the morning, and drops them back once the day is over. Hassle free!
