Still plenty of POL chickens available. They are enjoying their freedom. You will need to book an appointment (to ensure some are locked away!)

FINALLY some chickens are in stock after lots of enquiries. I have Emerald (yes back in stock) the Blue Egg Layers £26/hen. Rhode Rock, Red Ranger, Bluebell, Speckledy, Light Sussex Leghorn (only 3) These are £21/hen

I DONT have Copper Marans, Blacktail. Silver Sussex.

They are a couple of weeks younger so smaller in size and therefore take a little longer to lay.

Just to let you know I have a few older chickens available (from the February delivery) these have been enjoying some freedom with my hens. The breeds are a couple of Bluebells, Speckledy, Light Sussex and possibly one or two Red Rangers. These should soon start laying. If you require an of these please coukd you give me a heads up as they will need to be contained.
Other young hens include Red Rangers, Blacktail, Light Sussex, Speckledy, 1 x Bluebell, Rhode Rock, Copper Maran and a couple of Aracuna's (blue egg layers)
Prices are £21 for all except £26 for the Aracuna's.

We have had a new delivery of hens today. Breeds include Rhode Rock, Light Sussex, Speckledy, Bluebells, Blacktail, Red Rangers, Leghorn, Copper Maran. We also have a few Araucana which have replaced the Emerald as the Blue egg layer. These are smaller in size, a friendly inquisitive breed laying on average 180 eggs per year.
If you are wishing to come and visit or purchase, it's appointment only as we are a working farm. You will need a good box or carrier. The hens are £21 each or £26 for the Araucana.

Morning. I have some chickens but I only have Light Sussex. Blacktails ( 20 of Each) and a hand full of Bluebells and Red Rangers. A handful meaning 5 of each! Sorry but I had to take what I could.

I have so good news. I will be expecting another delivery in October. Not sure of the exact date but hopefully within the next couple of weeks. I know I will not be getting any Blue Egg Layers, Copper Marans or Red Rangers but hopefully all the other breeds. If you keep an eye on my FB page I will put an announcement about when they are delivered and available. I cannot reserve any birds I'm afraid.

Finally we have Chickens!! Yes living breathing Chickens!!

The only downside is that there are no Blus Egg Layers or Copper Marans. The other minor thing is that the Red Rangers and Blacktails are quite young being about 14 weeks. The others aronnd 16 weeks.

With this in mind I would probably feed a mixture of Grower and Layers Pellets which is what they are getting now.

They have been in for a couple of days to get settled and doing well. I know many of you may ask as they are smaller will they be cheaper? Unfortunately not as I have had to pay the same price.

Well I was supposed to have a delivery of chickens today. Sorry but yet again they have cancelled! Its like trying to find gold at the moment to stock any hens. Its so frustrating for not just me loosing business but to keep letting my customers down. I have been promised that I should have some within a couple of weeks. I have everything crossed. If you keep an eye on this page all details will be put on here. Lets hope its a positive post in a couple of weeks!!

Thank you all for your patience. I have some good news and bad. I do have chickens but only a few breeds. In stock I only have. Rhode Rock, Bluebells, Speckledy, Light Sussex. I have 15 of each of these and 5 Leghorns. I DO NOT have Red Rangers. Blacktails, Copper Marans or Emeralds (Blue egg layers) I don't have any idea when these will be available sorry.

I was expecting some last week but unfortunately for unforseen circumstances this has had to be cancelled by my supplier. Sorry for this inconvenience. Sorry its taken so long to finally get to the day when the chickens have finally arrived. I am 25 birds down so yes there will be much disappointment this month but the suppliers are struggling. I don't have any Speckledy or Red Rangers hens available. Limited numbers on others

I have had quite a few enquiries about chickens. I am hopefully due to have a delivery at the begining of March. An exact date has not been confirmed. Just to mention you need to book an appointment to come and visit, we will also be lambing so please bear with me about getting back to you. I will obviously post on here with more details nearer the time. Just to also inform you that the prices per chicken has increased by £1 so £19 and £26 (Blue Egg Layer / Emeralds). If you are also wishing to book a Chicken B&B slot this has also increased by £1/day.
