This is the ‘Wild maze’ area at the bottom end of Florence field. We like to keep an area of longer grass in the fields through the spring to autumn months. It’s great for your dogs to have a sniff and play in and also good for the incects and wildlife too.

Busy in the fields last night and you might even spot some new additions……we have some picnic benches in the fields now! -We have had a busy few weeks improving and extending the dog fields to create more space for you and your dogs to enjoy a proper walk in different environments within the fields. -Now we have a 3.5 acre Florence field and a 2 acre George field, both will ultimately have areas of uncut grass for your dogs to sniff and play in, along with acres of cut grass to play on with balls or frisbees. -Tyre jumps, balance beams and show jumps in each field. -Trees are to be planted to create shade and interest in each field -Each field has a shelter with a generous seat in. -Picnic benches are due in shortly to enjoy a picnic in the sunshine -Changes are going to be made to the booking system too, to allow 30 minute or hourly bookings. We look forward to seeing you down at the fields soon, a competition will be going live shortly to win some bundles of free walks in the summer holidays.

Mower man did his checks this morning, the skylarks are singing and the grass is just starting to grow.
