Our Agility Field with full set of First Contact Equipment available to hire on a Tuesday & Thursday 🐕

Please see our post on how to book 🐾🐾

Finally, now the weather is picking up :D our Agility Equipment to available to hire, this is a full size course of First Contact Equipment.

This includes Jumps, Weaves, Tunnels, Dog Walk, A Frame, See Saw, Break Away Tyre and Long Jump.

This will be available on a Tuesday and Thursday.

Please note: the Agility Field is only for use for only for those where the 'Hirer/Hirers', MUST be competing at Kennel Club/UKA Agility Shows, trained or attending regular training classes/121 with an experienced instructor, this is to ensure safety of dogs and that the equipment is used correctly and safely.

If you are wanting to book this area, you will be required to contact us, either via Facebook messenger/email to confirm the above experience in relation to using the agility equipment.

We will then send over a direct link for you to be able to book via the website, this is again just to ensure the safety of dogs using the equipment.

For those who are unable to use this Full Size equipment, we will still continue to have the small play equipment within the indoor area :) which does include small jumps, tunnels, weaves and small dog walk for your dogs to play with.

Once we are fully into the summer season, we will be bringing the ramps back out onto to Walking Field, so this will also be available to all.

Cost for booking the Agility Field is as follows

£15 for 1-2 people

£17 for 3-4 people

£19 for 5-6 people

Due to the wet weather the field is still really muddy - the sun is starting to appear slowly but we need more sunny days!!

We had opened slots up in April as usual but this winter seems to be wetter than ever!

XL Bully Update:

We appreciate it has been a sad time, but we are very pleased to be able to offer our facilities to allow muzzle free running for XL Bullies providing the following requirements are met:

✔️ You must hold a Certificate for Exemption by 31/01/2024 and you must hold your own public liability insurance - both of which do not need to be required at the time of booking but must be provided if requested/in the event of a claim.

✔️The dog handler ratio is 1:1 with their handler at all times.

✔️Your dog must be muzzled and on a lead whilst on the yard/parking area and you MUST lock the gate/door so no one can gain access whilst you are within this area.
This door/gate must be locked using the lock pin system on the doors/gates that can be accessed only from inside within the premise.

Only once you are securely INSIDE the field/training areas and the door is padlocked, you can then remove the lead & muzzle.

Before returning to the parking area you MUST put your dog back on the lead and place the muzzle back on BEFORE entering the parking area & car.

✔️ Your dog must also be microchipped and neutered (in line with the government timescales/age).

If you have more than one banned breed within your household, they must be walked on a 1:1 ratio, for example Two XL Bully types from the same household must be walked with two members of the household so there is always a 1:1 ratio (dog to handler).

If your are bringing further dogs from the same household alongside the XL Bully, the muzzle can be removed but must still require their own handler, along with a handler for the further dogs.

If you are wanting to meet with other dogs from a different households the Banned Breed must remained muzzled at all times.

Training on a 1-2-1 basis is allowed in any of the secure areas, the above rules apply that only once in the secure area with the padlocked door, can the muzzle and lead be removed. Muzzle and lead must remain on your dog whilst in the parking area/yard.

Any amendments that are made in the future, we will update you all as soon as possible 🥰

Rainy Weather 🌧🌧

I have travelled myself this morning from the Kirkby end, the water has now drained from where it was flooding yesterday on Kirkby Lane, but there are still areas of standing water on the roads in the usual areas.

The field is just wet as to be expected 🙂

Anyone booked in who wants to move slots, just drop us a message and we can sort this for you 🙂 please drive carefully if you are still wanting to attend.
