I came into work to see my dearest friend had done this for my 50th birthday today, i have had beautiful flowers, chocolates, cards from customers, people just popping in to say happy birthday. I just wanted to say a massive Thankyou as it truly means the world to me xx

This time of year is when pixie (my daughters old girl) comes to stay with us, as not many fireworks can be heard from our house. Today she enjoyed coming to work with her nana for a pamper day 🥰

Good news!
As from today i can return to normal regular appointments! As you can imagine i am busy re-booking everyone in and continuing to groom welfare appointments.
Please bare with me while i reply to previous messages for appointments. All appointments already booked from now can be kept.
If over the next few days i have not got back to you please let me know as i do not want to miss anyone.

Just a quick update
It looks like current restrictions will be in place until the 12 April....
I am keeping an eye on DEFRA updates over the next few days as they filter through.

As you know i can groom for welfare.

Anyone that has been affected with appointments by our current situation please contact me if you feel your dog needs my attention sooner than dates released today.

Grooming update

Following my anouncement of closing for general maintenance grooming of dogs due to DEFRA update. I am not open for business as usual. BUT I can now open periodically for welfare grooms only.

Groomers are to use our knowledge of our clients and breed type to help determine a welfare groom. I now have a system in place to do this as a record of assessment should be kept.

You are allowed to travel to groomer for a booked welfare groom.

I understand you may think this is excessive but as a professional and caring groomer these are the rules i have to follow to stay within guidelines for both myself and you.

If you can wait until we are allowed to resume normal trading it has been highly recommended you do so. Dogs just needing a freshen up and tidy unfortunately cannot be groomed at this time unless it comes under welfare.

Please understand these rules are not my own if i could stay open as normal i most definitely would 😊 as salon has been set up for covid safety since may.

I will be contacting everyone that is already booked in week by week to cancel/postpone and book any appropriate appointments.

I am here for ANY worries or concerns regarding your dogs grooming needs and will help.

Notice of temporary closure due to covid restrictions

Pet industry federation and DEFRA have just announced revised guidelines to our working conditions and it is with regret that as from tonight i have no choice to temporarily close.

The new guidelines state that although leaving home as part of the “care of a pet” was deemed appropriate last week government rhetoric has shifted in recent days to try to restrict movement as far as possible, with increased enforcement to ensure compliance.

Groomers may only accept dogs if the dog has been accessed remotely for welfare either through video call and images sent by the owner, vet recommended with all correspondence recorded.

Im so sorry this is out of my control I will book you all back in as soon as possible.

I will keep you updated on any changes and look forward to seeing you when we are allowed to reopen.

Following the government announcement on the 4th January I would like to update you.
For the continued welfare and comfort of your pets I will continue to work through this current lockdown in accordance with the government rules.
As usual this by appointment only, please keep to given times for dropping off and collection.
Face coverings need to be worn and hand sanitiser is available for your use on entry.
All my Covid safety protocols have been in place since May so I am working safetly in accordance with the rules.
If you are displaying any symptoms or have been told to isolate please contact me so i can reschedule your appointment.
I am back to work on the 12th January and look forward to seeing you on your next prebooked appointment.

Met the gorgeous baby Tigs today! In for his first groom.

Introducing puppy’s early for their first visit is so important. Bath, dry and brush with nails trimmed along with a feet and bottom tidy is all thats needed.

Whats most important today is he is happy, feels safe and has lots of cuddles 🥰. Welcome to our grooming family Tigs xx

GOOD NEWS!! Groomers can work.

Just very quickly updating you all as im still working.
After working hard to bring as many pups up to date i now have a couple days off.
I will be using this time to become up to date with any new protocols on how i can operate while we are in lockdown and update you in the next couple days.
I will be open next week as usual so your upcoming appointments can stay as they are 😊.

Lockdown update

With the announcement of the national lockdown from Thursday I am currently awaiting clarification from authorities to determine whether I can operate in some capacity during the lockdown.

Once I know exactly how and if i can stay open I will be contacting all of you individually with upcoming appointments that are already made. I may need to jiggle times etc to conform to restrictions.

Please bare with me while I find out more.
