We hope everyone had had a lovely bank holiday weekend and made the most of the weather with some sunny walks!

We have some exciting news, due to one of our regular pooches parents moving away, we have space to take on another regular pooch during the week to join us on walks through the week! 🐶

Skipper (pictured) is on the look out for who else may join us for walks and is one of our regular dogs we have the pleasure of walking so we are lucky he’s not leaving us any time soon and him and Harry have a bond like no other 💕

We keep our numbers minimal for walks so we can truly spend quality time with any dog that is in our care so if you are in the PL2 area and looking for your fur babies to get out for daily walks please do not hesitate to drop us a message and see if we are the right fit for you and your dog 🐶🥰

Remember to keep your chocolate eggs well and truly out of the way from your fur babies but do spoil them with their own treats and we hope you’re all making the most of the amazing bank holiday weather to get out for some new walks ☀️

On the hunt for new treats 🐶

We love exploring the local parks and woodlands for a good run around but something we know all these pooches love more than anything is some tasty treats and who are we to stop them finding them 😍

have started making new pooches puddings so the boys lead the way to get the most out of their walk to not only have a play in the park but get some tasty treats too 🥰

We always make sure we have permission from our pooches parents to make sure we are allowed to give treats according to diet and lifestyle and these 3 boys all have the ok to enjoy extra treats and we love to be able to spoilt them while they are in our care so what’s not to love about making the most of this lovely weather we are having at the moment by getting some play time on our walks with the bonus of some dog friendly cakes 😍

We hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas and New Year! We have been back walking and having the pleasure of taking out the regular pooches who have become such a part of our family already but today we had a new face and had little Cathy come and join us! She is an absolute pleasure and definitely loved a good run around the fields as well as exploring the woods on our walks today! 🍃 🍂

We are already getting booked for walks for the next few months as we like to keep our numbers to a minimum to really give every pooch in our care lots of attention (and lots of treats when their parents say we can!) 😍

Who else is absolutely loving this winter sun?! We are definitely making sure we make the most of it with the dogs! Happy Monday! 🤍

🐶 Jarvis 🐶

We had the pleasure of taking Jarvis out for a trial walk yesterday afternoon and what a happy boy he was!! Hun and harry got on so well and moving forward we are going to be taking this lovely boy out for regular walks once a week which we are looking forward to as he was a pleasure to take out and we will be exploring new places each week 💕

🐶 Wesley 🐶

Say hello to Wesley! Wesley is 2 years old and a bundle of energy but incredibly intelligent and willing to learn 🥰

So not only did we take him out for an hours walk, we spent time with him going through commands, giving positive reinforcement and lots of fuss and attention so not only did we make sure he was physically exercised on his walk but mentally stimulated too! 🙌🏻

His mum gave us the ok that he is allowed treats so lots of fuss and lots of treats and he was a quick learner to work on getting more social with other dogs as well as listening to us and being the most well behaved boy ⭐️

This is why we keep our numbers minimal with our walks so we can give the dogs in our care 100% attention and fuss! So we always advise to book in in advance so we can be sure to give your pooches our full attention and treat them on our walks ☺️

🐶 Skipper 🐶

Last night Harry had Skipper over for a sleep over for his trial night as his owners are looking to go away in November. We always make sure we have a trial night prior, so everyone is happy and comfortable for when your furry family members have longer stays with us 💕

Harry and Skipper have been out for a few walks together previous to this so it means they’ve met each other in a really positive environment and had fun on walks so Skipper has had a lovely stay with us and we are looking forward to welcoming him back in November 🏠 🐶

Today Harry was joined by skipper the Jack Russel and they are already best friends! Skipper will now be joining us once a week for some exercise and socialising 🐶

Harry had lots of friends on today’s lunchtime outing! 🐶

This is as large as we go for a single pack walk as we always like to make sure we have eyes on your doggos at all times. We will be extending to two walks a day for the days we are full so we will always have availability ☺️

Todays walk we were joined by Leo and Oakley 🐾
These two are now a regular within our pack for lunchtime walks whilst their parents are at work.

Everyday is a new adventure and they have been loving every minute! 😃

Todays post is about our permanent resident Harry!

Harry is 7 years old however you wouldn’t guess it when you meet him! He still think he’s a puppy and loves to play when he has visitors.
He’s grown up around other doggo’s so is extremely social and always enjoys the company on his daily walks.

He can’t wait to meet some new friends 🐶

Who are we? 🐶 👫🏼

The team behind Plymouth Pooches is me (Georgia), Matt and our super happy and spoilt cocker spaniel Harry 🤍

I have spent 6 years working within the veterinary industry in Cornwall and since moving to Plymouth we wanted to be able to open our loving home to a few other dogs for when their parents are going away but still would like them to remain comfortable and stress free in a home from home environment 🏡

Harry has been brought up in the veterinary practice so he is extremely sociable and happy to be around many other dogs and we will only be allowing limited numbers at any one time to keep your dogs stay more intimate to be able to provide all the extra care, cuddles and attention while you are away, so they are as happy as possible and you know they are being just as spoilt with us as they do with you 🥰

We will also be providing a dog walking service for the local area as we love getting out and about on walks, so for many working, busy homes, we are available to provide your special pooches with extra walks in the day as needed for when your work and/or home life takes over so we take the stress off you and help to make sure you’re happy and your dogs are happy ☺️
