🌳 Sophisticated Scratch has kindly donated this beautiful handcrafted Applewood cat tree with an English oak base for us to auction! 🌳

The auction is now open and will close at 12pm noon on Monday 16th October. All you need to do to enter is state your bid in the comments below.

Retail price of the cat tree is £1,850, so we have a reserve of £1,000 due to the time, skill and raw materials that have gone into creating this outstanding piece. All proceeds from the auction will go towards to welfare of the animals at Gables. 🐶🐱

The highest bidder will be announced after close of the auction and after your donation is received. Sophisticated Scratch will also kindly organise delivery within the UK as part of their donation.

It’s beginning to feel at lot like Christmas 🥶🎄

THINGS TO BE AWARE OF AS A PET OWNER AT CHRISTMAS

Chocolate 🍫 - our homes are often full of chocolate during the festive period so make sure it is out of reach of dogs (including gifts under the tree).

Mince Pies, Christmas Pudding & Cakes 🥮 - raisins, sultanas & grapes are the key ingredients to these yummy xmas treats but can be deadly if eaten by dogs, they can cause acute kidney damage.

Nuts 🥜🌰 - with nut consumption peaking at Christmas time it is important to make sure your pet does not have access to them - nuts & shells pose choking hazards & macadamia nuts present an additional risk to dogs.

Decorations 🎄🎁-Tinsel, Baubles, lights, wrapping paper etc - given the opportunity cats & dogs may want to play with ribbons & tinsel which could be swallowed so please make sure to keep all items out of reach, cats love to climb inside Christmas trees an put themselves at risk, that why we love them - if your cat is prone to tree climbing ensure the base is secured on the floor so there is minimal chance of the tree falling.
