We have a lot of different exotic inverts, but the odd native also end up in my care, usually unintentionally 😅

This beautiful Angle Shades moth (Phlogophora meticulosa) came in on some bramble as a caterpillar, and pupated in the Macleays Spectre enclosure!

I usually do my best to remove all hitchhikers before taking bramble home, but this one was sneaky. After the weather we’ve had, I felt it was safer to keep this one until after pupation 🥵

A quick chow down on some strawberry and this one was ready for release! (Please excuse my crusty fingers 💅🏻✨)

We just sent our first ever enclosure order to the US 🇺🇸

The wonderful Dani ordered two of our Critter Keepers and was willing to be our first US customer!

Keeping everything crossed that the double packaging helps these survive the journey and heavy handed couriers that slam dunk parcels 🙈

Two new custom made enclosures were sent off to the lovely Marianne for some of her isopods 🌿

These are essentially a longer version of our critter keeper range with 2mm vent holes, as the following sizes:

🔸35x15x15cm
🔸30x10x10cm

We think these are the ideal size for keeping on shelves or ledges that aren’t very deep, whilst offering good floor space for small to medium isopod species!

Are these something we should add to the website? We’d love to hear your thoughts 💭

Sorry for the silence!

Running a business whilst juggling life and a health condition is hard, but keeping up with social media seems even harder 😖

I picked up this African Violet off a reduced shelf for £1 a few years ago and the blooms get better each year!
The flowers look like glitter which never fail to make me smile 🤩

Something that doesn’t make me smile though are these important changes to our service:

‼️WINDSOR FRAMEWORK/ LAW CHANGES -
from 1st May 2025, we NO longer ship Live Animals or Plants to Northern Ireland. Enclosure orders should not be affected ‼️
