18 months ago I started out on a new & exciting journey to start my own dog walking & boarding business. It was a huge leap of faith to leave a secure job that I had been doing for over 20 years but I don’t regret a single second of it!! I have thoroughly enjoyed working with some fabulous doggies alongside their supportive and kind families. I will miss every single dog I’ve been lucky enough to walk and board.
I need to say a huge thank you to my wonderful son, Jake for supporting my decision to start the business and for all his help & patience over these 18 months…you’ve been amazing and I know you will miss walking with me and entertaining all the dogs who have stayed with us!! My dog, Inca needs a big pat on the back too as she has been an absolute legend…sharing her ‘many’ beds with the many dogs who have boarded with us, allowing them to eat her treats and helping me to keep them all in good order when out on walks!!!
Thank you to my family and friends who have given me heaps of encouragement and have also supported me with my decision to go back into teaching.
Thank you to all my fellow dog walkers and boarders in the local area who have been there from the start helping me build up my client base and offering support when needed…I really do appreciate all you’ve done for me.
Finally, a massive thank you to all the wonderful owners who have trusted me to take on their dogs and build such amazing bonds…It’s going to be very strange not walking them anymore but I have many fond memories to take with me. I wish you all the best and I hope they behave for their new dog walkers!!
Although, I am going back into teaching I will still be offering boarding as my license doesn’t expire for another year. Boarding will only be offered during school holidays so please do get in touch if you need to use my services during these times.
For now, it’s farewell from myself, Jake and Hanzo’s Hounds’ friendly mascot…Inca!!!
