Sal and I wish you all the most incredible Christmas with lots of love and festive wishes, however that may look for you and yours ⛄️

I can’t thank you all enough for the best last year walking, memories to cherish for a lifetime (a video montage will follow in the next couple of days)❤️

We have been absolutely spoilt by our incredible clients and couldn’t be more grateful to all the amazing people we have gotten to call friends along the way! 🎄

🥳💜 2 Year Anniversary!! 💜🥳

🐾 I cannot believe it has been two years already!! From Barking Mad to Sal’s Pals it’s been quite the journey!! 🐾

✨ As always I would be nowhere without my gorgeous doggies by my side and my loyal clients who’s support and unwavering faith keeps Sal’s Pals alive! ✨

💗 This year has been slightly different by having my own tiny side kick by my side, Sal. Who’s love and companionship has changed the way I work forever and opened my eyes to so many more ways to socialise, entertain and encourage more nervous dogs that we are and always will be a safe space for all!💗

🌟 I am and will forever be grateful that I get to do the best job in the world side by side with the best pups and clients! 🌟

💜 ‼️ Walk / Weather Update ‼️💜

Please read:

☀️ As the weather is set to heat up this week all walks will be moved to morning slots in order to keep all our gorgeous pups safe, cool and happy!
The walks will end 10 mins earlier in order for all the doggies to get back to the van for a nice cool bowl of water and a full body check for any pesky ticks or grass seeds, before setting off back home ☀️

🐾 If any of my elder, brachycephalic or heat prone doggies prefer to stay in for this duration I am more than happy to do pop ins for toilet breaks, cuddles, games and of course iced treats to keep them happy and cool! Just pop me a message!🐾

Remember, if it’s too hot for your hands or your bare feet, then it’s too hot for their paw pads! ⚠️

If you’re unsure whether it’s okay to let your pet go for a walk on pavements, a simple way to test the temperature is by holding your bare skin on the tarmac for five seconds ⏱️

If you find it painful, then your pet will find it painful to walk on!

To protect your pet, it’s best to avoid walks during the hottest part of the day, which is usually between 8am and 6pm. If you can't safely exercise your dog, missing a day won't hurt.

❌ RAPESEED! ❌

It’s that time of year again where farmers fields have blossomed into pretty yellow flowers, these plants are called rapeseed. Although it may be tempting to place your dog in the midst to take a scenic photo, please avoid this at all costs!

Rapeseed is extremely poisonous for dogs, especially in highly sensitive canines.

Rapeseed is listed by Dogs Trust as toxic to our dogs if ingested and can cause symptoms such as:

❌Haemolytic Anaemia
❌ Blindness
❌ Damaged Nervous System
❌ Digestive Disorders
❌ Breathing Problems

Even walking through these fields should be avoided! In June 2019, a dog was reported to be suffering from severe open wounds after running through a crop of rapeseed.

Please seek immediate veterinary attention if your dog shows any signs of rapeseed poisoning!

💜 🎾 Monday Mayhem 🎾 💜

🌿 The little legs group had a fab run around in the forest this morning, we just about missed the on and off rain and only got slightly soggy! Not that any of these gorgeous ones cared, they had a fab time sniffing out the best smells surrounded by bluebells 🌿

🦴 It was a Labrador party this afternoon, with the cheeky boys Harley and Merlin! Sal showed the brothers around with Harley finding all the best sniff spots and pretty floral backgrounds. Plenty of treats were had how could I say no to those faces 😍🦴

💜 🫶🏻 Waggy Tail Wednesday! 🫶🏻 💜

☀️ Look at all of these sunny happy pups! We may have gotten very very wind swept with flying ears, wagging tails, crazy hair and even some tongues out! But still lots of smiles to be seen and plenty of treats to keep the teams spirits up! ☀️

🎾 Even Milo decided to join in on today’s fun by playing fetch with Sal and Murphy! It’s times like this that make my heart fill with so much happiness, to see Milo who was once so nervous to be gaining so much confidence even with other doggies! This is what I live for 🎾

💜 🐾 Tuesday Crew 🐾 💜

🫶🏻 We were joined by gorgeous Poppy today who fit into the group so well, Bruno had the best time playing with Poppy zooming in and out of the forest path, even Jack joined in running too! 🫶🏻

🎾 Denzil kept the fun rolling into the next group as Ted and Keef were both running around like loons just trying to catch Denzil! (They had no chance but gave it a really good go!) 🎾

🌧️☀️ We didn’t quite know how the weather would be each walk, somehow we got super lucky and saw lots of sun! ☀️🌧️

🌧️⚡️ 💜 Thunderstorm Thursday 💜⚡️🌧️

🌪️ What a whirlwind of a day for these pups! The weather couldn’t make up its mind so we had very soggy doggies, muddy paws, flying ears, soaked towels but lots of happy faces 🌪️

🐣 I am now off for Easter! I hope you all have an incredible long weekend, I will be replying to all messages Monday and back to walking on Tuesday 🐣
