Mini Doodle dooooo 🖤.

Always trying to give me his paw, even when I haven't asked for it 🤣 (see before pic).

Rossi was literally crying to come in the doors of the salon for his groom first thing. Just sooo excited!!
He brightens up any day .. wish I had a Rossi on stand by whenever I needed to smile ❤️.

Arlo the Cockapoo 🌼.

Happy boy Arlo came in for a short trim today. He already made a start on his back legs for me 🙈.. sadly he's been chewing them quite a bit (allergy related) which has resulted in some hair loss. I've tried to even up his legs as best as I can and he is looking better for it. Arlo starts some new allergy food soon to help 😌.

He seemed as chirpy and playful as ever 💛.

Boo the Cockapoo! 🤎🤍

I just have the cutest regular pups, always feel lucky when I have afternoons with this one!

Sweet like chocolate 🤎

Here is Nutmeg, the Australian Labradoodle. Nutmeg is on a healing journey with me to try and enjoy grooming more. We have some beautiful moments in between the fearful ones.

I do love those big brown eyes 😌! Pretty girl.

Love is all you need! 💚

It seems having a good cuddle and a moment to decompress for 10 minutes before starting helped Loki be an extra brave boy yesterday.
The hammock sling didn't even get used this time for his leg drying (Loki loathes the dryer!)

We turned that worried before face right around to happy waggy tails at the end. ⭐
SUCH a sweet boy, wish we could just cuddle all day but alas, I have a job to do 😆✂️.

Looking cute in blue 💙.

Archie is feeling ready for the summer sun with his new short hairdo! Right on time as it's looking like 24° tomorrow.
I've taken a bulk load off his head & ears too which should help loads.. Now he'll be able to feel the wind in his hair 😆 🍃. See you in Nov!!

A couple of floofs!

These two popped in this week for good clip and tidy up. Hopefully both feeling better with a shorter coat in this heat ☀️.
We've had cooling mats layed out, fans blowing and doors open (gated) to keep these lovely pups safe and feeling good.

New dog alert! 🥹

Isabella the Maltese came for her first groom with the Pup-Up Parlour today 🩷.
I've been looking forward to meeting her and she did not disappoint. Shes such a chilled, happy pup on and off the table. Owners even commented at how relaxed she was after.

Few little breaks needed today due to the heat, she held up like a little trooper! I bet that nice cool bath was a real treat 😊.

Poppy ❤️.

Sweet Poppy the Cairn Terrier came to visit this week. Since her last visit to me (last year) her owner told me she has become more anxious. This did sadly reflect in how she behaved during grooming and extra care was needed!

Behavioural changes can happen in senior dogs such as increased irritability, and/or less tolerance for being touched.
Front legs were an absolute no no for this girly so we did what we could to ensure she wasn't too stressed out.

What a transformation ☺️. Much more tidy!

Spaniel beauty 🩷.

This little lady waited a good while for her groom due to my injuries.. her mum also broke some bones just after me so between the two of us we're a right pair! 🙈
Normal schedule now resumed! Doesn't Ivy look so gorgeous with those curly ears 😩.

Mr Wriggle Butt 💙.

I struggled to get a good photo of Teddy so his mum sent me this lovely one after he got home from the salon (and out from the rain!)
He gets so excited at the end of the groom, he wriggles about and barks his little heart out 😂.

Request was to have shorter topknot this time around for easier maintenance. Such a cutie!

This cute terrier mix group include a mother, Lexi (white hair) and her two offspring Lulu (dark hair) and Tarka.. aka Teeks!
All in much need of a good bath and tidy as they just LOVE to dig and roll about in all sorts in their owners garden 😆💚.

This boy makes me smile & laugh so much when I see him. He's so patient for his groom despite being as playful as a puppy off the table. He has a lovely time bouncing about afterwards and I always LOVE having him here.

Sweet Arlo 💚.

This boy is such a dream to work with ⭐🤩. Very gentle natured for a cockapoo and always happy to stroll on in and get a fuss. So nice to see when dogs enjoy coming for a pamper.

Guess who's back??

In my big ol' aircast boot.. it's me! 👱‍♀️👋 Finally back in the salon today after 8 weeks off, and thankfully did not forget how to groom 🥴.

My fellow groomers have graced me with new nicknames such as Big Foot and Hopalong 🤣.

I had the loveliest welcome back from my good fluffy friend Chesney this morning, who gave me loads of love and patience.
Chesneys mum groomed him herself in my absence and he wouldn't let her do his legs, so she was very relieved to have them all tidied up today and also rid him of his "fat head" 😂 🤎

UPDATE - July/August ☀️

Good morning, I hope everyone has had a lovely few days in the sunshine!
I wanted to do a little update and say that I am doing well and now getting about easier via boot & crutch. My arm is getting stronger and I am being optimistic that I'll be capable to groom again from beginning of July 🙌.
Physio will be ongoing as with any injuries such as these but I will take it easy, slower if necessary.. and have been booking slots with good breaks in between in case I over run!

JULY

I have been in touch with regular clients who were waiting for bookings and July is now fully booked. Thanks to everyone for being patient!

AUGUST

Requests have already been coming in for August and September bookings. Here is my current availability for August. No weekend space available now over this month, sorry!

*May open up a weekday on 1st week Aug if I don't go away.. sat 10th fully booked*

Hi all 👋!
So I did a thing.. and broke my ankle in two places and dislocated my elbow (causing ligament damage). This was the other week but in between then and now I have been spending nights in hospital, been waiting for an operation on both injuries, and adapting to my current limitations.
I've since had the operation and I am now working on physio daily so I can get back to grooming my lovely canine friends! 🐶

It's unfortunate that it's happened coming up to my first full year of my Pup-Up Parlour business. I've had a fantastic year and I am so grateful to you all for being part of the journey and continuing to have me as your groomer.

I've been messaging clients gradually and getting dogs moved to grooming friends, as well as recommending other local businesses.

My priority is your dogs welfare over everything and ensuring there's time to find them a slot so please bare with me if you haven't heard from me yet .. I will be in touch. Massive thanks to those who have moved and been so understanding ❤️🙏.
I hope to be back somewhere in July providing my appt next week goes well.

Happiest of Bordoodles! 👅

Rocky is a cross between a Border Collie and a Poodle, two of the most intelligent breeds.

He is an absolute bundle of fun who just loves to play and make friends with all the pups in the salon.
He runs about with his tongue sticking out the side of his mouth like a silly sausage... just love his personality ❤️.

This Cavachon doesn't stand for any dryer heads nonsense. She throws her head about like she's having a toddler tantrum, bless her.
Need a bit of spice to keep me on my toes 😆.

Rossi is back! 🖤

And he was pulling to come back in the salon after his groom 😂.. his owner said probably due to the rain outside but I like to think he wanted more time with me ha ha 🤷‍♀️.

This curly boy had the full works done! Hopefully feeling better from having visibility again and also less hair irritating his ear canals.
We may go shorter for summer but let's see if we get a summer first.. 🙄.

How handsome is Archie!? 🖤

I can't get over him.. he is just such a beaut who's eyes look into your soul!
He has one of my favourite coats that I've seen on a cocker spaniel and he usually comes in every 12 weeks to have it cut nice and short.

Arch is another gentle natured dog who allows me to get on with things whilst he chills out! Gold stars all round ⭐. See you in summer 😎.

Boy knows how to work the camera!

Arlo the cockapoo has been with me once before (at 8 months old) but last time had a longer finish. This time dad wanted a shorter cut for the hotter months ..we wish 🤣😭 ☔.

Arlo had a good fuss sitting on my lap whilst waiting to be picked up. He was SUCH a good boy throughout, how did I get so lucky! ❤️

Bow 🖤

My lovely boy Bow bounced right on in for his Steph time yesterday! Always a great welcome.

He had plenty of playtime after his groom where Mr Piggy came out and also Bows absolute favourite.. the tennis ball! You can't even mention the word ball around him as he is OBSESSED. He will go for hours chasing it.
