Price Increase

Due to rising costs and in line with NMW, I will be increasing my fee from April 2024 to:
1 visit per day: £11.50
2 visits per day: £20

This is within the PL4 area, outside of this, there may be an extra fee for travel time and public transport costs.

I hate having to increase what I charge, but I have absorbed travel costs and did not increase in line with NMW last year due to my business being new, so I apologise for the jump in fees!

For overnight stays, this is still quoted on enquiry. For any bookings already in my diary, original quotes will still be honoured.

Get your kitties microchipped! 😺

📅 The countdown is on – from 10 June 2024 all pet cats over 20 weeks old must be microchipped and registered on a compliant database.

🐾 Microchipping is the quickest and most effective way of ensuring lost pets can be identified. Animals that are microchipped are more than twice as likely to be reunited with their owners.

Hello, it's been a while 😺 what a busy summer it's been! I hope you're all enjoying this delayed summer we're having, and your pets are managing to stay cool! I've loved getting to know some of your gorgeous kitties this year and have had the pleasure of looking after some of them on several occasions over the last 6 months since I started my business, so thank you so much for choosing me ❤️ I'm so grateful for your trust and support!

If anyone has any time away planned between now and Christmas, my diary is very much open with plenty of availability! So feel free to get in touch and I'll pencil you in.

Below is one of my most recent fluffy bébé's I cared for, Mars, along with his brother Jupiter ❤️ he decided my tatty bag would make a great bed 😹 absolutely loved looking after these two!

My books are currently closed from 28th May to the 26th June as I'm either fully booked or away myself! I'm starting to get booked up for the summer so please get in touch to book your summer holidays ☺️
Prices are as listed before, £10 for one visit per day, £18 for 2 visits per day. For overnight care message me for a quote.
I am very comfortable giving medication, and do not charge any extra for administering meds as some catteries do. I care for diabetic kitties on insulin injections and some on thyroid medication, and I'm very respectful of specific diets to manage health problems, and will follow your instructions to a tee.

- the first week of May (1st to the 5th)
- the 20th to 26th May
- Could possibly squeeze in an extra booking between 9th and 19th May

Hello I'm Alicia and I've been cat sitting through Cat in a Flat, for the past 3 years and have now decided to branch out on my own with this new venture!

I have a wealth of experience in the Animal Care sector, working as a Client Care Assistant at a veterinary practice before I started cat sitting, have a BTEC National Diploma in Animal Management, a BSc (Hons) in Zoology from the University of Exeter, and I am currently undertaking my PhD part-time in Animal Behaviour at the University of Plymouth. I also have previously worked at the Wild Futures Monkey Sanctuary in Looe and worked on marine conservation projects in Tenerife and Cape Verde, but the domestic moggy will always have my heart!

I've previously been a foster carer for Cats Protection before adopting my own Ragdoll cat, named Happy Cat who is my spoiled furry baby! I know how precious your furbaby is to you so they will be in very capable hands! I'm comfortable administering medication and grooming, if required. Also happy to look after any small furries or exotics too. I am fully insured and have a valid CRB/DBS certificate.

At present I am covering the PL4 area (Mutley, Lipson, St Judes, Mount Gould, Barbican, Cattedown, Prince Rock) but if you fall just outside this area or are wanting overnight care do not hesitate to contact me.
