Top Dog

Formally known as the Pear Tree pub, Top Dog is a Dog Grooming salon in Stoke village. Cabinet dryers are not used, all dogs are dried by hand.

This is a Friendly and Professional salon which works to the highest of standards, providing a relaxing and top service to all customers. No cages are used as we like the dogs to feel comfortable and safe whilst they are with us. They will meet friendly faces and receive lots of cuddles to help them feel nice and r

elaxed and to feel at home whilst away from home. Services included are clipping, sc******ng of small breeds, health check, nails, bath and dry and bath and tidy up. No longer taking on large or hand stripping breeds. Please note prices quoted are only estimates when meeting your dog(s) and can change depending on breed size, coat condition and type and temperament.

These sweet boys have been coming to Top Dog for a while now. I’ve had the pleasure of grooming Toby since a pup, he’s now 8, then later joined by Harley 🥰

They always love a cuddle. Especially Toby, if I stand still for more than a second, sitting on my feet so I can’t move until he gets them 😂. Love this duo 💙

⚠️ Poodle Coat Maintenance ⚠️ **Owner has given permission to share these images/video** Poodle breeds, whether they’re pure or mix, are HIGH maintenance. They need REGULAR appointments, between 4-6 weeks; 8 weeks at the absolute maximum. Brushing them daily at home is a must, and being realistic with what style you want them to have. Keeping in mind their lifestyle (like to get as dirty as possible. Running in and out of bushes etc), and if you choose to use a harness as well as a collar. These coats are VERY prone to matting. Should you go any more than 8 weeks, please don’t be surprised if there are extra charges, with any Groomer you use. This may include a matted/equipment maintenance charge on top of the groom price. Clipping off these coat is the last thing ANY Groomer wants to do, unless of course it’s requested by the owner. If you’re struggling with maintenance at home, need advice on the best tools to use, or not sure how long to go between each groom. Please speak to your Groomer. We are here to help!

When a puppy pamper gets too much, a puppy nap beckons! 😍😴 - Trying not to disturb him too much, to finish his legs off…didn’t flinch once! He was out for the count. - It’s a lovely feeling, knowing they feel safe and comfortable enough to fall asleep on the table. Even if it does make the job a little trickier and takes a bit longer to complete 😂. Their comfort will always come first 😍🐾
