Donna and I have been out on a chipathon today lol. We met some gorgeous cats and their lovely humums too. X

If you are a cat owner, in England, you will be legally required to ensure your cat is microchipped by Saturday 10 June 2024, if it is older than 20 weeks old, following the Government's announcements on Monday 13 March 2023. Failure to comply may result in a fine of up to £500.

If your cat is already microchipped, it is also part of the law that your details associated with the chip must be up to date.

About us.

We are a service that has undergone full training and insurance, endorsed by Peddymark, a leading microchip training company in the UK.
We have switched to the latest MyPet microchips that have no registration fee and offer free insurance for 5 weeks.

We offer to microchip your kittens and puppies from the age of 6-8 weeks onward depending on breed, also cats and dogs of any age, bunnies, guinea pigs and ferrets too, all in the comfort of your home and in their own environment to help minimise any stress that can be caused by attending a veterinary surgery, as we all know most animals do not like going.

Our professionalism, confidence, and caring approach ensures that your pets' welfare is our top priority at all times.

There is a £15 microchipping fee, and there is an extra £2:50 for bridge/ferry toll.

Our services extend throughout Plymouth, including Saltash, Ivybridge, and Yelverton.

We also offer a scanning service where we will scan your pets for a chip, provide you with the chip number and advise you of the microchipping company/database the chip details are registered too in the Plymouth area.

We are a non-profit service. After expenses, any money left goes directly to Journey's End Feline Sanctuary.

To ensure your peace of mind, all our implanters undergo DBS checks.

Sorry to have to post this but some really need to grow up.

In the last month we’ve had several fake accounts trying to book appointments and others who have wasted our time which then impacted on those genuine customers wanting our service.
We are not in a school playground and you clearly have far too much time on your hands so please take your juvenile behaviour elsewhere.
Thank you x

Polite reminder:

We offer a service that we bring to your home to eliminate stress and anxiety that can be caused by taking your furry friend to the vets.
We will always send a confirmation, reminder the day before.
If you do not respond to this, then we will assume that you no longer need our service and offer it to another.

Kind Regards xx

Q:Why should I have my animals microchipped?
A: The best reason to have your animals microchipped is the improved chance that you'll get your animal back if it becomes lost or stolen.

Q:What is the lifespan of a microchip?
A:When a microchip scanner is passed over the pet, the microchip gets enough power from the scanner to transmit the microchip's ID number. Since there's no battery and no moving parts, there's nothing to keep charged, wear out, or replace. The microchip will last your pet's lifetime.

It’s the responsible thing to do and will become a legal requirement by 10/6/24 to have your cat’s microchipped as it is already for dogs.
So book in today £15 per pet.

Microchipping your pets is a sure way of identification if they should get lost or stolen however, keeping those details up to date is paramount and for dogs a legal requirement.
