***ADOPT ME PLEASE***
Meet Buster – a handsome black gentleman looking for a calm, understanding home. Buster is a 10-year-old long-haired, pitch-black boy with plenty of character and a quietly endearing presence. He came into Cats Protection through the Cat Guardian scheme after the sad loss of his elderly owners, and it’s very clear he was deeply loved. Understandably, Buster is grieving and finding his way through a big change, but he is making steady progress every day in foster care. Buster is wonderfully nosey and likes to keep a close eye on his humans. He’ll follow you from room to room to see what you’re up to, or perhaps to investigate whether treats might be involved. One of his favourite habits is gently stepping on your feet, just to remind you he’s there. He enjoys affection on his terms, likes a good fuss, but knows when he’s had enough and will happily let you know. He’s looking for a quieter, settled home where life ticks along at a gentle pace. An older couple or calm household without children would suit him beautifully. Buster relaxes most when there’s soft conversation and everyday background noise, and he thrives with people who understand cat body language and can “speak cat”. Buster is healthy, clean with his litter tray, and truly deserves a special home where he can feel safe, respected, and loved again. With patience and kindness, he will reward the right person with companionship, character, and the quiet loyalty of a cat who has known love before and is ready to find it again.

Meet our 8th cat of Christmas… and her babies too! 🎄😻

Nova came into our care after being left at a vet while heavily pregnant, when her owner was facing financial difficulties. Just 8 days later, this sweet girl gave birth to five beautiful kittens 🐾
Nova has been an incredible mum, giving her babies the very best start in life. We’re delighted to share that all five kittens are now reserved and will be heading off to their forever homes in the New Year 🎉
Even better, Nova herself will soon also up for adoption and will soon begin her own next chapter, where she’ll finally get the love and security she deserves ❤️

Meet our 7th cat of Christmas 🎄 😻
Last December, Cruise was noticed by a lady hanging around her garden. He was in poor condition, underweight and badly affected by fleas, so he was gently supported with food while trust was built.

By February it was clear he had been living in the area for many months, sleeping in gardens and searching for food. Soon after, our trapping team stepped in to help secure his safety. After a few days of getting used to a trap, Cruise was safely caught within minutes and taken to safety.
Although he is still missed, everyone involved is so happy knowing Cruise is now in his forever home and thriving.

Here are some heartwarming words from his mum:

Cruise is well and truly settled in, we all love him to bits. Since the day he came he hasn’t been 1 ounce of trouble, he even gets on well with our son’s dog. He’s very loving towards all the family and loves being centre of attention when we have a houseful.

Meet the 6th cat of Christmas 🎄 😻

Stanley started life as a ginger street boy. He was being kindly fed by a local lady and sleeping in her garden, doing his best to survive on his own. At the time, Cats Protection had no space available, but we still stepped in to help.
We put an outhouse in the garden so Stanley had a safe, dry place to sleep, and made him a paper collar while we worked on next steps.
Then something very special happened. A lady came forward who had previously adopted a ginger street boy from Cats Protection, but sadly he had passed away. She reached out to ask if we had any ginger boys and told us she was more than happy to wait until one was ready.
When we finally had space, Stanley came into our care. He was castrated, microchipped, and received extensive dental work to give him the healthy, comfortable future he deserved. And then… he went home.
Stanley is now settled with his new mum, where he’s safe, loved, and very much enjoying life — and we hear he’s also extremely chatty! 🐱💬

***PLEASE ADOPT ME***

Bolish (also known as Bolus) “Short, dark, handsome boy seeks love and companionship…” Bolish is an intelligent young cat who showed up seeking warmth and a tasty meal. The kind woman who took him in grew attached to him, but since she couldn't keep pets, she asked Cats Protection to help find him a loving home. After completing his feline makeover at our spa retreat, Bolish is now ready to meet his forever family. He's shy at first—but given some time and gentle one-on-one attention, he quickly becomes affectionate. Cat treats and small muslin bags filled with Valerian root and catnip work wonders for him (though do not overdo it, as he loves them a little too much!). Bolish enjoys conversations—his meows, purrs, and head bonks are how he expresses affection. He thrives on routine, often sharing tales of his day, giving head bonks (sometimes knocking food from your hand), and purring while eating before settling in for lap cuddles and biscuit-making. He appreciates being brushed. His cuddles are sweet; though his paws are sharp, he never uses them out of anger. If you're not giving enough chin and neck rubs, he'll gently guide your hands until you get it right! When he's done with affection, he'll insist you watch him use the litter box before heading off to his favourite sleeping spot. Gentle and extremely tidy, Bolish would be ideal in a home where he can relax and offer wonderful companionship to his human friends. Bolish can live with children, he's healthy and clean with his tray.

***ADOPTED***

***GOLDEN OLDIE APPEAL***
Please meet dear Autumn. This beautiful old girl was left outside a vet practice in her carrier.
Despite what she has been through this last week, she has not let it affect her and will rub all over you, climb on your lap and gland your face. She is the most affectionate and loving girl you could hope for.
Autumn has had a full health check and blood tests. She is fit and well and ready for homing.
We would really like to get her in her own home for Christmas. At 15 years old, 76 in human years, we would love for her to be curled up on her owners lap and getting the retirement she deserves.
Autumn loves adults and older children and loves nothing more than being with you. She would be happy as an indoor only cat but also wouldn't mind a very safe area outside.
PLEASE consider giving this golden oldie a place in your home and life.
