Plant sale for the Brain Cancer Charity...

Lovingly grown and potted up by me, to raise money for the Brain Cancer Charity.

Did you know that with all the money raised for cancer, brain cancer only gets about 3% of that, and it is one of the most common causes of cancer, especially in young people.

If you have any plants that you would like to bring to add to mine, that would be wonderful!

Thank you, Hazel

Sara Kendall is going to be sorely missed by our Roborough vet family. 😢

She has been a solid asset from the moment she joined us 19 years ago. We wish her every success with her new venture in the field of human physiotherapy.

She will be missed by many clients who benefited from her expert dermatology knowledge. Our loss is going to be Plymouth Uni's gain.

Who's going to make the cups of tea now? 😉

To all our valued clients!
Due to an outbreak of covid within our staffing team we will be incredibly short staffed tomorrow (Friday 12th August). Could we please ask that you only call tomorrow if the call is urgent or regarding a sick animal. If you need to order medication then please do this via our repeat order page on our website. We really appreciate your cooperation.

Here's one of those jobs which can be easier in the Summer! Washing your pets’ bedding at high temperature can help reduce allergens, particularly from dust mites. Avoid using biological washing powder as this can cause skin irritation. Getting them dry on the line before bed time is the challenge!

Flea bites are itchy for our pets and even more so if they have an allergic reaction to fleas. This can cause even more scratching which can lead to skin inflammation. Call the surgery and make an appointment if you think your pet may be having trouble with fleas or allergies.

Make sure rabbits and guinea pigs have areas of shade and places to hide when they’re playing in their run or your garden. As prey animals, they need somewhere to hide if they get spooked, plus it will make playtime more fun!

Taking your dog out for a bike ride is great exercise, but make sure you don’t go too far or too fast for your dog to keep up. Long runs on hard ground are tough on joints and paws.

Dogs might like to feel the wind in their hair when in the car, especially when the summer weather is here. But please make sure they’re securely inside the car. Use a car crate, boot guard or harness to keep your dog safe and legal.
