You would think it was much longer than 3 weeks since some of these dogs had seen each other😀🤪! They were definitely making up for all the fun they missed.
It all got a bit much for Big Reggie and he needed a little lie down☺️.
Last feed for Lottie and friends today before their owner returns so Lottie gave me lots of nose bumps and had a little snuggle on my lap.
My other current cat care job is for Cat Tink and Simba but so far only Cat Tink has made an appearance at feeding time. Simba is a bit shy☺️.

A short day to end my first week back. A gloomy start for Trixie but she brightened up the vie with her lovely warm coat. Hugo was in a very social mood and enjoyed saying hello to the many dogs we came across at Sherford country park. It was particularly nice to bump into Miska. Winnie looked like she didn’t want to peel herself off the settee when I did my drop in (who could blame her☺️), but with a treat to persuade her , she came into the garden to play. The day was finished off dropping in to see Lottie , Mango and friends😀

My phone apparently doesn’t like the cold and kept shutting down, so apologies for not having photos of Winnie, Jet&Max🥲. Mav and Atlas had clearly missed each other and wasted no time bouncing around together . Must have been a little warmer in the woods🤷🏻‍♂️.

Lottie seems quite taken with my beard😂. A big welcome back for Ozzy and Saffie today. Only Trixie escaped the worst of the weather today, everyone else got a drenching.
Keep safe everyone, some total muppets doing absolutely ridiculous speeds in the snow on the A38 earlier😡. As they say, if it isn’t totally necessary, don’t make the trip.

Well what a selection I have this week!😀 First up, I was off to feed Mango and his feathered friends, along with Lottie the cat and Stanley the Hamster (🤫 shh, h’s always sleeping- no photo). Then it was Trixies first walk of 2025, then Mav wondering when the rest of his mates will be making an appearance?? Tilly then Joined Hugo for his first walk of the year, and we finished off with Atlas coming out again to join Winnie on her first of 2025. The sun even made an appearance😀

Great to back today walking these beautiful dogs. Just easing my way back in. Big shout out to the NHS 🙌 for getting me in for a little op before Christmas, and doing such a great job that I have been able to return to work sooner than expected, minimising the inconvenience to my customers🙌👍🏻

Well that’s it for 2024, and to mark my last walk of the year Loki put his lovely Christmas tree jumper on😀 🎄🎅. The way Hugo kept chasing him I think he wants one too☺️.

Penultimate day before I’m off for a little while, so it was good to only get caught in the rain for the last ten minutes or so. Reggie met little ‘Frank and Bear’ , and after initially hiding between my legs Reggie came out to play for a bit☺️. It was great to meet another owner of small breeds, not changing direction or picking their dogs up when they encounter the lovely Reggie. Tilly kept the amorous Brian in check😂 while Hugo enjoyed being his running partner. Winnie is looking forward to her walk with Walter, Jet & Max tomorrow after my drop in to her today 🐾❤️🐾

Lovely day out with this bunch until the rain arrived for poor Saffie. Hugo and Loki jumped into their mate Jack which always causes great excitement😂. Winnie enjoyed giving Atlas the runaround along with Reeva who has been making some guest appearances over the last couple of weeks as she settles into Plymouth. All the dogs who she has been out with have loved having her along. Trixie had her last walk of the year with me, roll on 2025.
The Mewsday-Tuesday group had their usual fun on the coastal path🙌😀🐾❤️🐾

Friday 13th.. so I’m not superstitious but, had a collision of wing mirrors with another van that was so far on the wrong side of the road I’m sure the driver shouted bonjour😂 ( no damage done), then a cat ran out causing me to brake hard! Went to take a photo of Trixie on the Hoe and discovered my phone wasn’t where it should be. No need to panic, it will be on the seat in the van. Return to van, PANIC! No phone. Returned Trixie home, her owner called my phone and it was located in the footwell of van, phew!😅. (Caused by braking hard)
Came across an elf on a shelf impersonating a police officer sat on a hook holding dog leads (yes that is what is between his legs) and finally, when I dropped in on Winnie she was being attacked by a pink octopus!! I was just pleased to get home unscathed🤪☺️
