Happy Birthday to Delilah! This gorgeous girl turns three today.
Sadly Delilah doesn't feel she has much to celebrate through. Having recently arrived at the sanctuary due to her owner's ill health, she's struggling with cattery life.
Delilah hopes it won't be long before she finds her forever home. She is housetrained and would prefer to be the only cat in her new home. A calm home with no children and dogs is probably best suited to this girl.

Dottie is an independent but friendly 8 year old female.
She has lived with cats before, but can be a bully in the home, she is OK with children 8 years and older. She is a sweet girl who loves a fuss on her terms and enjoys some playtime 🐱

It’s Mother’s Day this Sunday and the pawfect hopportunity to celebrate the lovely Lulu and all of the wonderful animal mummies here at Woodside.
Rabbit Lulu arrived at the sanctuary with her daughter, Cola last summer as an unwanted litter.
This super-sweet mother and daughter have now spent more than six months searching for their home, either as a pair or with a neutered male.

Could you be that special person to help the lovely Daisie blossom?

Springer Spaniel Daisie, who is 9 months old, arrived at the sanctuary after a change in her family’s circumstances meant they could no longer care for her.

Daisie is a friendly but nervous girl who needs reassurance to help her grow in confidence. An experienced owner with the patience to show Daisie that the world isn’t such a scary place would be perfect for this gorgeous girl..

Daisie is good with dogs, although wary of bigger ones due to a previous experience. She has not lived with cats or children so any young people in her new home would need to be aged 16+.

Daisie would benefit from having someone around for much of the day, as she doesn’t like to be left. She travels well in a car and loves playing with rope toys.

Sooty the mischeavious, young chap is around 6/8 months of age.
He is full of energy and character and often makes staff giggle with his energy levels, he is looking for an active home that will keep him occupied and busy. He could potentially live with another confident cat, we are unsure if he would be suitable with dogs but may be OK with the correct introductions. He is looking for a home with older children as he can sometimes nip staff when he's had enough attention. 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛

High-five from the lovely Luca! This handsome boy is one of Woodside’s long-stayers, having spent two years searching for his forever home.
Luca, who is nearly 3-years-old, is a clever, energetic boy who is goofy and stubborn in equal measure.
Luca, a Husky Sharpei X, loves charging around the fields with his canine pals and playing hide and seek. He doesn't like being left for long periods so would need someone at home for much of the day, or would possibly make a great work companion.
Luca needs a confident, experienced dog owner in an adult-only, pet-free home. He has a high prey drive and because of this is muzzled on walks.

Sweet and irresistible, Biscuit and Bourbon are two adorable rats searching for their forever home.
These super-cute sisters are eight months old and though a little shy, with regular handling their carers are hopeful they will grow in confidence.

Could you offer a ferret (or two…) their forever home? We currently have an unusually high number of these cute and clever animals searching for a family.
Among them is Barry, who has now spent eight months at the sanctuary. Nicknamed Bazza, he's a friendly young adult who enjoys a tummy tickle, and would love some ferret friends to live and play with.
Other long-stayers include Snoopy and Fairy, who arrived with Tinkerbell and Lucky. Snoopy is an elderly lady with a sweet personality, and Fairy loves to play in her tunnel. They are sociable ladies who want to live together and possibly with some other ferret friends. They could be rehomed with Tinkerbell and Lucky, two adorable girls who love snuggling up with each other.
More recent arrivals are Bob and Bobby, two adult males who came in together. Bob is four-years-old and Bobby a few months younger.
Ferrets are intelligent, playful animals who love to forage, play, hide and rest, and need spacious housing to accommodate these behaviours. To find out more, please get in touch.

Beautiful Boxer looking for his forever home at Woodside Animal Welfare Trust

Hello, can I help you?? Handsome Boxer X Reggie is helping out in reception today.
It’s impossible to have a bad day with this boy around. He’s one happy dog who loves people, dogs and life in general.
Sadly, ex-Woodsider Reggie finds himself back at the sanctuary due to a change of jobs for his owners, which meant they could no longer give him the time he deserves.
Reggie is a 2-year-old Boxer X American Bulldog. He has lived with children and gets on well with other dogs.
Reggie’s a clever boy who likes to learn new tricks. He’s playful, loves toys and has lots of energy, so would suit an active home. However his carers say that, for his breed, Reggie is a mellow boy who is respectful of people and other dogs.
