( 20 Marlborough street PL1 4AH ) open Mon-Fri 8:45-4:30 Closed weekends and Bank holidays

we are a local pet shop who stock many pet products from treats to cages, to live bugs and frozen foods, we stock a small range of livestock from rabbits to cockatiels to hamsters and rats we also have four cold water fish tanks, we are family run and like to help students on animal care for a work placement so you may see students working here too, we have a groom room at the back of our shop (

not in shop view and fully secure) we provide a service for xlarge dogs to petite dogs,cats,rabbit/guinea pigs,ferrets,and other smallies we also deal with birds large and small,

sevices we provide are:

micro-chipping
claw clipping
a**l glad excretion
wing clipping
comb out/ de-tangle
shaving / face trim/thin out
bath and blow dry (using a hand dryer so be assured your pet will not go into a cage dryer, we don’t even have one in store as we don’t like them)
teeth brushing
ear cleaning
If you have medication to administer but cannot do this yourself or perhaps would like their flea/worm treatment to be given the same time as grooming with your own treatment and permission we will happily administer these for you.(Please note we hold no responsibility to any reaction with any treatments as it will always be what we are provided with, we simply administer them)

Grooming 2025 onwards, no shows to appointments/cancellations within 24hrs before your due you will still be charged full price, we are a family run business and we still have bills to pay if you do not attend thankyou.

Much needed delivery has arrived 🙌 all natural treats are getting back in stock both loose and bulk bags/grab bags. Huge range to choose from also have our popular yak bars topped up with new peanut flavor now 😋 and the Long lasting Antlers. And finally have the Luxury pate delivered, we’ve been in much need as many flavors were sold out 😅 , all are back in the shop today , we’re expanding even more soon on our natural range so watch out for new lines that will be arriving.

So with the recent closure of jeanys discount store I like to let customers know we are now stocking many of the same weighed up pet foods at the same great value, we have many already available in the shop and some still to bag up. We tape our bags square to fit on our shelves but they will still be 1kg bags once we finished packing

Well what can I say - What a massive celebration for Little pet supplies & Grooming we incorporated 15 years ago today 🙌 what a achievement for a small family run business who have only specialized in the pet trade for the entire time trading, we have grafted the entire journey, never took a loan out and we all worked hard to achieve what we have today. All began by getting trade accounts up and running and selling at car boots to earn some cash to get started in a shop,we were at number 34 Marlborough street for just 6mths when number 20 became available and we moved up and been here ever since. Many ups and downs and struggles along the way as the pet trade isn’t easy and we have so much competition not only by footfall but online aswell , we also survived a global pandemic 😷 and still came out fighting. We could not have grown without all your support over the years and many of you have been with us the entire journey and others are new customers and we appreciate each and everyone for your continued support in helping supporting a independent family run business, we hope to continue to grow even further and celebrate for years to come with you all, being part of community trading for 15 years has been absolutely incredible and Thankyou all again . Some past pictures of when we first started 🙈 to now 😍 and I like to give a huge shout out to Julie Avery and Adrian Hulse for going out their way with all my ideas and growing the business together, also a shout out to Kerri at Hungry Jack’s for our 15 years celebration cake just wonderful of you ☺️ I will be here in the shop till 1:30 today 🎈 15% off all toys and beds today
