I have nominated my daughter Jessica Walke for the West Country Women’s “GREEN BUSINESS OF THE YEAR AWARD”. It’s absolutely astonishing what she has accomplished in little over a year. She set up Eco cleaning services after leaving university because she believed she wasn’t getting the education she wanted and everyone was constantly turning up “drunk”. She wasn’t into the student life and wanted to get on and make money and her mark on the world. Well, she has certainly done that! ECO-CLEANING SERVICES now holds contracts with businesses and council Departments all over Devon and Cornwall as well as keeping up with all of her domestic cleans. She does it all with eco-friendly products, some of which she makes herself (I love the air and fabric fresher). She has even managed to convince all these businesses to change their ways and use her products. Even after recently being hospitalised with pneumonia, she is now back at it. Her drive and dedication to her business, the environment and her clients is remarkable and I couldn’t be prouder of her. Please PLEASE help me recognise her determination, dedication and drive by putting in a nomination for her.
