We have asked a few of our client's owners to see their opinions on our charity and why they started using this.
Clara’s owners:” Ever since I was bogged down for work, I felt bad leaving Clara on her own, i found the charity when they created their new page and ever since I joined, I've never seen her be so happy” ,
Bernard’s owners: “It’s such a relief to have someone who can help me out with walking Bernard. I want to make sure he is getting the active lifestyle that he needs but that I am unable to provide myself. Suppawt-a-Pup have been fantastic and my little Bernard has never been happier.”

Our amazing volunteer Katie was walking an old client of ours Albert and he was such a good boy the entire walk. The walk was an hour long and Albert was so tired after it and his owner really appreciated the help.

People may wonder why is such an amazing thing to join in on.
There are so many positives for this line of work that can benefit you and the local area. So many people are unable to walk their dogs daily due to jobs, illness or disabilities. And that’s where we come in! After a week of training you can join our amazing team of volunteers.
This gives you active work experience which is useful for so many applications for younger audiences. And for older audiences it allows them to have a hobby outside of work meaning they can do more for the local community, offer the idea to younger audiences and use this as a form of exercise if they cannot access a gym or don’t want to use a gym membership.
Our team is always growing and we would love to have you join it as well.

There are so many benefits to walking dogs weekly or even a daily basis.

Walking weekly makes exercise so much more fun as you can meet so many nice dogs and puppies and you can help them grow into amazing dogs.

is an amazing addition to peoples UCAS and CV’s as we will happily support your placement in our business if you need a recommendation. It also shows the business that you are willing to do volunteer work and help the business more than other applicants.

If you’ve been a volunteer for a long time we will also offer you a job at the business or offer support in writing applications to businesses.

Here is Sharon walking our new our client Pluto. He is still a young puppy but is learning really fast and we love helping him grow into an amazing dog. Why should you become a volunteer? Good question. When you join our team of lovely volunteers we do a quick induction and training to make sure you are ready for the world of dog walking. Once you join our amazing team, you will be given a lanyard to allow our clients to know you are with us and a free t-shirt (because who doesn’t love free goodies). Joining our team allows you to see beautiful and playful dogs and if you are a student or someone looking for work you can put this on your CV and your UCAS reports to help you get jobs and help you get into higher education as we are always happy to refer you and your work.
