✂️ How to use the ‘Clearing Method’ if your scissor catches or has completely lock.

ℹ️Groomers Tip! First and fore most, if a pair of your grooming scissors are catching or have completely locked, DO NOT continue to use the scissors and DO NOT repeat the opening and closing of the scissors.

This action can cause further damage to the cutting edges of the blades and if any dents have been made, this repeated action of opening and closing will deepen the dent or dents and potentially cause further issues.

Please put the scissors down immediately and follow the steps in the link below.

✅ The 'clearing method' is a great hack which can help a dog groomer fix a pair of scissors after catching or locking has occurred.

This method can help the blades 'clear' the dent/s and allowing the groomer to continue using their scissors.

‼️This is however, only a temporary fix and it is advised that a scissor sharpener take a look at the scissors to ensure that they are functioning correctly.
