What is dog training?

Dog training is based on primary stimuli, which allow the dog to achieve the desired behavior, and secondary stimuli, i.e. voice commands and optical signs. As a result of combining these stimuli, we obtain the training goal - a dog that responds to commands.

To my human, this is what happens to my paws when you take me out in the scorching sun ☀️ when the pavement is so hot !

Remember I sweat through my paws, so in this heat I can’t get rid of my sweat as my paws are burning. Missing my walk won’t harm me. Please let me just relax indoors and take me out when the sun is down🐾

If you see someone walking their dog on hot pavement, ask them to take off their shoes for the remainder of their walk home. Maybe then they'll understand.

Summer is a time of intensive work in the garden and... increased tick activity. If you want to protect yourself from arachnids, put one thing in your garden. It will attract the natural enemies of ticks and you will forget about the bites.
Ticks are small arachnids that feed on the blood of mammals and birds. The bite itself is not painful, but it poses a serious health risk. Ticks transmit diseases such as Lyme disease and meningitis.

They can be found in meadows, parks and forests, but arachnids are also increasingly appearing in home gardens. How to protect yourself against ticks in the garden? Place an object in it that will attract their natural enemies.

Ticks are small creatures from the arachnid family. There are approximately 900 species of these pests around the world. They reach from 0.5 to 30 mm. Their presence on the body is almost imperceptible, just like the bite. Only after a few hours, a painful and itchy erythema appears at the injection site.

More and more cases of tick-borne diseases are reported every year. These include, among others: Lyme disease, tick-borne encephalitis or babesiosis. Each of these diseases requires specialized treatment.

Arachnids can attack us anywhere. In the past, they could only be found while walking in the meadow and forest. Nowadays, ticks are present even in cities. People working in the garden are particularly vulnerable to attack. How to protect yourself against it?

You can find many tick repellent sprays in stores and pharmacies, but not everyone remembers to use them before leaving home. There is another way to protect yourself from tick attacks in the garden.

All you need to do is put a feeder or a birdhouse in it. Species such as sparrows, thrushes and t**s feed on ticks. This way you will not only help the birds, but also get rid of ticks.

Ticks have a very sensitive sense of smell. They are able to smell the scent of their prey from a distance. Some aromas attract them, while others repel them. If you want to get rid of them from your garden, plant plants such as rosemary, lavender, basil, thyme or mint. Ticks cannot stand the smell of these plants and as soon as they smell it, they immediately run away.

JUST A REMINDER, TO ALL DOG OWNERS.

⚠️🚙⚠️ Despite the warnings, hundreds of dogs in the UK die every year after being left in a hot car. Someone you know may need to read this very important message. ⚠️🚙⚠️

SIX MINUTES is all it takes for a dog to overheat in a hot car.

Your dog could suffer serious injury or die in a matter of minutes if left alone in a car.

• The temperature inside a closed vehicle left in the sun can double within 12 minutes.

• At least 75% of the temperature increase in a closed vehicle occurs within 5 minutes of closing the vehicle, and at least 89% of the temperature increase occurs within 15 minutes of closing the vehicle.

• Temperatures exceeding 104˚ F can lead to death or serious injury for the occupants.

• Temperatures in a closed vehicle sitting in the hot sun can reach 160˚F and above. An animal will suffer immeasurably and may die before the temperature reaches 150˚F.

• Even when parked in the shade, the vehicle temperatures can exceed 104˚C.

• Leaving windows down more than 2 inches on an unattended vehicle will not prevent a car from reaching extreme temperatures.

• Even if the animal is revived, they can die due to severe internal organ damage.

Your dog trusts you to have their best interest at heart ALWAYS.
Please don’t risk their safety.

If you are not taking your dog inside your destination with you, PLEASE leave them at home where they are comfortable and safe.

Why do dogs run away?

Did you know that... one of the basic needs of dogs is daily, free exercise? And this is a need that your dog MUST have in order to maintain physical and mental health!

Interestingly, running freely around the garden will NOT meet this need.

Do you know why?

Because dogs allowed in the garden DO NOT RUN freely. If they move around the garden, it is either to defend their territory or to chase some object (bird, butterfly, cat).
Neither of them is related to natural, unforced and free movement because it is triggered by very strong stimuli.

The only option to meet this need is a walk, where the dog can move at its own pace (which, by the way, is naturally much faster than a human's pace).

At the same time, it also meets a number of other needs:

✅ exploration (free smelling and exploring the area),
✅ communication (reads and leaves traces of other dogs and animals),
✅ autoregulation (rolling, biting sticks, kicking regulates accumulated emotions and allows you to relax and reduce arousal)
✅ strengthens the relationship with the owner (the dog associates pleasant outings with its owner and the owner gets to know his dog better outside the home)
✅ prevents the development of behavioral problems (99% of which are related to unmet needs).

All this will not be solved by running around the garden or throwing a ball (btw, this activity is extremely addictive, injury-prone and usually fixates the dog, which is unhealthy neither for the dog nor the relationship between humans and dogs).

Returning to the question asked at the beginning - dogs run away precisely because their body naturally needs to meet this need and uses every possible opportunity to do so. In turn, guardians do not let them off the leash out of fear for their dogs - and so the circle closes.
Others, however, approach the issue in such a way that yes, they let their dogs off the leash, but they have no control over them at all.

Is there any way out?

Yes. Ability to recall and recall 1 guardian's password. This one thing changes EVERYTHING.

Because the dog is obedient and able to appeal to dogs, people, birds and other elements that interest it, it GIVES FREEDOM!

After all, a dog responds to the call of its owner
✅ doesn't get into trouble
✅does not pose a threat to others
✅ can meet your needs
✅ thanks to this, he is happy and has a good relationship with his guardian

✅ eksplorację (swobodne wąchanie i poznawanie terenu),
✅ komunikację (odczytuje i zostawia ślady innych psów i zwierząt),
