🍁😁🍂🌞 I really can’t believe our luck at the moment with this glorious autumn weather 😃🍁🌞🍂

Looking around the yard at owners dressed in shirt sleeves this morning and not bundled up in water proofs .
All the horses happily out by night still !
I could easily be mistaken into believing it was August and not the middle of November.
Such a bonus to all Equestrians and farmers . Hope you’re all having fun and enjoying the Indian summer.

🍂🐴🍁MY GOODNESS ITS OCTOBER 🍁🐴🍂

Time to dig out rugs ready for the colder weather
Grooming now woolly ponies, decorated with a crust of mud here and there, just to keep us warm cleaning them off 🤣
Perhaps finding our own thicker jackets from the back of the wardrobe and the inevitable woolly hat. In my case loads of gloves that have a partner missing 🤣
However a gorgeous season for riding and enjoying the countryside. One of my favourite times of year.

Close to Plymouth and set on the edge of Roborough down , fabulous riding on the doorstep, 20x40meter school with lights.
All year round turn out, lovely tack room. Hay and haylage available made by ourselves.
Small friendly yard , owners live on site.

Lower upperton is a small yard set on the very edge of Roborough common.
Our horses have group turn out in large fields.
We have a 20 m x 40 m school with lights. A great tack room, quality hay and haylage for sale here and
Owners live on site.

This is a post in honour of Vouge a beautiful mare that we had the pleasure of providing a home for the last 11 years.
Her family we’ve seen grow up and enjoy the special relationship and pleasure she has given them.
She sadly flew to heavenly pastures a couple of weeks ago.
We’ve loved having you here as part of our yard and Upperton Farm family.
You were greatly loved and will be terribly missed 💔😢🥀

OUR EXTREMELY BUSY LITTLE CAT JULIO 🐈‍⬛
When you’re just checking out the stables for mum. Making sure the horses are ok and that there are no naughty 🐭🐭🐭
hiding under the mounting block . All this and checking out that your looking gorgeous in the process 😻
Then into bed for a nice afternoon forty winks!
Can’t be a bad life to be a yard cat 🤣😂🤣

So loved seeing this super picture of one of our ex clients and friend .
Olivia was with us at the farm for many years as a child with her beautiful horse Ellie .
She’s currently serving in Poland for her country.
Good to see her getting some precious time in with horses while she’s there.
