Hey everyone, I just saw a news segment about the UK government considering a law to ban slapping children as a form of discipline. It got me thinking—what about pets? Specifically, should slapping or physically punishing dogs (or other pets) be considered an offense?

Pets are part of our families, and they rely on us for care and protection. But when it comes to discipline, is physical punishment ever okay? Slapping a dog might seem like a quick way to correct behavior, but it can cause fear, anxiety, and even long-term harm. Plus, there are so many effective, positive training methods out there that don’t involve physical force.

It is almost feeling like Spring and hand in hand with Spring comes heavily pregnant livestock and new borns.
Every year it’s the same mantra please have your pets under control and every year we still receive reports from farmers regarding attacks on their livestock.
If your dog attacks or you see a dog attack please report it, livestock are often left to a painful death.
Take the lead, be responsible don’t depend on recall. Dogs are hunters and sometimes no matter how domesticated your pet is it can take as little as a second for a chase to pursue.
