Friday Furries 🐶

Alfie, Teddy, Louie, Nellie, Indie, Bonnie, Bishop, Nellie, Nando, Dolly, Molly & Monty 🐾

Apologies for the lack of pics today but if you didn't have access to a window it was biblical out there 😅

First walkers of the day and we all had a chat at the van before the start of the walk, mainly me gearing up Bonnie for what was probably her least favourite walk in her many years of existence. When she wasn't throwing a wobbly and chucking her coat off in the field for me to find I was doing my best to maintain visual with the group when the rain was absolutely lashing into my eyes whilst what I can only assume was Indie's idea of a very good time 🌧️

Finishing up the day another chat to start, "please stay in eyesight" " please don't pull me over in the mud" "let's have some fun".
Dolly unfortunately probably cursed my existence the entire walk and you can clearly see how over me and the walk she is from the few pics I did manage to take. The same cannot be said for the rest of the group however. Plenty of games in the grass, Nellie kick starting everyone off for some zoomies. Even old gal Molly had a spring in her step 🐾

Thursday Friends 💕

Henry, Tommy, Bishop, Louie, Sadie, Boris, Milo, Rusty, Cleo & Ted 🐾

The love fest continues as Sadie had both Tommy and Louie running around after her, shameless flirt that she is! Boris very much enjoyed leaving them to it to sniffle out some treats. I on the other hand was made to feel very special as there isn't anything quite the unwavering love of a spaniel and luckily for me Henry and Bishop made sure I wasn't out of their sight today. Maybe it's the treats or I like to think they stare soulfully at me out of love 🥹😅

Last walkers of the day and someone must have put 50p in Ted, he was like a little barking rocket today. Very keen to have a run around after Rusty and Cleo who were full of play. Milo found an outstanding specimen of rock which was only to be rolled on but not to be touched 😂

Humpday Hounds 🐶

Hugo, Stitch, Bee, Nellie, Ziggy, Webber, Huxley, Optimus, Bishop, Penny, Teddy & Aggie 🐾

A nice muddy walk to start the day with the boys and Bee. Stitch has got a poorly eye at the mo but it didn't stop him from bombing around the field after Hugo. They enjoyed a splash in the big puddle and relieving me of many a treat 🌿

Mid morning walkers and Webber and Nellie had their usual wrestle which Huxley and Ziggy decided needed to music so then came the sausage serenade. As you can imagine the weirdest wrestle ever in what was once a quiet field 🤼‍♀️

Last walkers of the day and we went for a woodland wander. Penny was very playful today and had many a zombie through the bracken. Bishop enjoyed flushing out the treats whilst Teddy attacked some twigs. Aggie found plenty of nook and cranies to hide in 🪾

Tuesday Team ⭐

Tommy, Webber, Boris, Louie, Bobby, Sadie, Nando & Teddy 🐾

Boys club to start the day. Plenty of fun to be had! Bobby had a good run around after Tommy. Webber and Louie had some fun in the water and Boris kept a leisurely pace 🌿

Last walkers of the day and we got suitably drenched and covered in mud but no one cared a jot! Teddy had a good game with Sadie whilst Nando was happy to pick up the scents 🌧️

Monday Moochers 🌿

Dolly, Monty, Cleo, Bee, Nellie, Indie, Henry, Webber, Teddy, Milo, Aggie & Rusty 🐾

What a day!! 🌬️🌧️🌪️

I was quite optimistic after our first walk, it was a bit drizzly and a lot windy but all in all very nice dog walking conditions. The girls enjoyed running around after Monty who was only too happy to have a game 🌿

The second walkers of the enjoyed more wet weather and got suitably covered in mud. Spaniel heaven. Teddy was full of beans and did his absolute best to keep up with Nellie with her much longer legs in a game of zoomies 🏃🏻‍♀️

By the third walk of the day I was fully aware of why there was a weather warning as it was blowing a hooley and the rain was coming in sideways. Unfortunately not many pics of the last walks as I spent most of it trying to remain upright. Naturally none of them paid a lick of attention to the weather and made the most of all the puddles to splash in 💦

Sending get well wishes to Bruce who is absent this week with an injury. We wish him a speedy recovery and hopefully see him again next week 💕

Friday Furries 🐶

Teddy, Indie, Alfie, Bonnie, Nellie, Dolly, Molly, Monty, Penny & Nando 🐾

Finishing up the week in the fields 🌿

Teddy had a good run around with a stick which Nellie had absolutely no chance of getting off him. Indie did his best to turn himself brown all over. Alfie enjoyed rocketing through the open space and Bonnie got a good canter going to keep up with all the longer legs 🐎

Finishing up we headed back to the fields for some more fun. Monty had a game with Penny which was nice to see as she can be unsure of bu**er folk. Mollie had a good roll, Nando enjoyed flushing treats out in the grass and Dolly had a very busy nose 👃🏻

Thursday Friends 💕

Bishop, Louie, Bee, Boris, Sadie, Henry, Milo, Cleo, Ted & Rusty 🐾

It may have been a bit of a bleak one today but that certainly didn't stop the first walkers of the day. Plenty of fun and games to be had despite the wind and rain. Sadie and Henry were full of beans and down to blow off some steam. Sadie did this in the form of grappling with Louie and Henry true spaniel that he is, needed a job. Luckily for me I had plenty of treats I 'needed' to be found ok the bracken 😅

Last walkers of the day and I gave up on photos fairly quickly, it was coming in sideways and I couldn't feel my fingers. Cleo enjoyed learning from the calmer, older dogs today. Loads of healthy play from Rusty to get some off that energy burned off but just as quick to take in the actual walk 🙌🏻

A frosty start to the day, the boys didn't mind one bit and made light work of the more challenging route for them today. A week off on their holibobs clearly had them raring to go. We bumped into some new friends who wanted a game and Bee was only too happy to chase after them ❄️

Mid morning play in the paddock. All the girls were keen for a game of chase me and Webber was spoilt for choice who to play with. Huxley enjoyed running after everyone whilst Optimus blindly barked at everyone 🔊

Last walkers of the day and Aggie let off some steam in the woods with Teddy. Wonderful bouncy play in the leaves whilst Bishop and Penny kept their noses busy 🌲

Tuesday Team ⭐

Bobby, Bruce, Tommy, Boris, Ziggy, Nando, Sadie, Penny, Teddy & Bonnie 🐾

Ziggy and the boys to start our day. Very muddy underfoot so we all got suitably covered. iggy enjoyed trying to keep up with the big lads and did an admirable job. Bobby did his best impersonation of a car alarm as he ran off with Tommy into the sunset. Boris must have had his Weetabix this morning as he also bounded through the long grass 🌿

Last walkers of the day and Penny got to meet Sadie. Sadie is scientifically what's known as 'daft as a brush' so whilst Penny tends to hang back from bigger dogs she quickly realised Sadie, whilst large is an absolute marshmallow. The girls enjoyed some play together and even got Nando in on some of the action. Bonnie did her best to escape the confines of her unicorn jumper so we all had fun trying to find it in the long grass. Teddy has moved on from politely looking to me for treats and now makes demands, vocally 😅

❄️☃️🎁CHRISTMAS CLOSURE DATES❄️☃️🎁

I'VE HELD OFF FOR AS LONG AS I COULD BUT PEOPLE NEEDED TO KNOW!

I'm actually taking a bit of a longer break this year for Christmas! Who the hell do I think I am?! What a part timer!

Jurassic Bark Plymouth shall be closed December 25th until(gird your loins) January 5th. I know, I know absolutely ages! Sorry for any inconvenience but I shall be doing my best to consume as many mince pies as possible within this time period. And if the mince pies don't get me the mulled wine certainly shall 🥂

I shall of course be working right up to and including Christmas eve. If anyone would like to swap days Christmas week just holla. As you can imagine I will likely be quieter on the lead up to Christmas so if you'd like any additional walks it will be another holla type job jobby 🤙🏻

Monday Moochers 🌿

Monty, Cleo, Dolly, Henry, Indie, Bruce, Nellie, Louie, Milo, Rusty & Aggie 🐾

Welcome to mudfest 2025 😅

All weathers on our first walk with the first trio. Naturally none of them minded the howling winds of intermittent showers. Nor were they too discerning about the mud everywhere! Monty may be black in colour but he sure loves a bog so in he went. Small graces, the girls took pity and remained unmarred by the wilds 😅

Mid morning walkers and I stood no chance. Two spaniels, two cream dogs and Bruce who could hide all manner of sin in his brown fur. What I will say despite everyone's best efforts to become absolutely filthy today they really did have the time of their lives. So much fun to watch them just be dogs and enjoy picking up all the scents 🌿

Last walkers of the day and Milo enjoyed pretending to be a submarine. Rusty found his voice on today's walk and demanded many a treat whilst Aggie spent most of the walk meerkating to try and get a better look at whatever took her fancy 👀

Friday Furries 🐶

Nellie, Sadie, Indie, Teddy, Alfie, Boris, Dolly, Molly, Monty & Nando 🐾

We started our day with some more recall work with Sadie which was made much easier with the help of Nellie who has exceptional recall. It also helps that they absolutely adore each other and are very similar in temperament and were more than happy to enjoy a game of tug of war with a stick. Everyone enjoyed a good rummage in the bracken which was a joy just to stand back and watch dogs ne dogs 🥹

Last walkers of the day and Nando was in a very playful mood and enjoyed a game of chase with me. Monty had a very busy nose so I think we must have just missed something wild. Molly enjoyed her usual roll whilst Dolly tried to sniff out something to eat 🌿
