Thursday Friends 💕

Ted, Cleo, Rico, Milo, Rusty & Henry 🐾

Big JB welcome to Ted the BT 🥳🙌🏻

Ted is Heavenly Bella's brother(who sadly left us January last year 🌈) and will be joining us weekly for some fun and frivolity. Standup gentleman, excellent moustache and true to nature loves nothing more than to sniff every nook and cranny 😁

We had two woodland walks today at an earlier time to manage the heat 🌶️

Firstly the trio of lads, lads, lads, enjoyed a leisurely stroll. We kept it nice and calm and had lots of sniffing, hiding of treats and slow walking to keep everyone cool and calm. We had lots of water stops and plenty of fun 🌲

Last walkers and Ted met some of the gang. Rico and Cleo were very welcoming. I ce they all had their initial butt sniffs and hellos everyone ignored each other and we had a very chilled, very sniffy walk. Lovely to just watch them enjoy their surroundings and just be dogs 🥹

That's it for me for the week folks, one special walk tomorrow for Nellie as she's practically my neighbour. I'll be closed tomorrow for some van work which has worked out particularly good timing as it's even hotter tomorrow 🌡️🥴

Humpday Hounds 🐶

Rosie, Teddy, Hugo, Stitch, Optimus, Bee, Webber, Nellie, Huxley, Aggie, Hamish, Bishop, Ziggy & Rico 🐾

Big thank you to everyone for swapping and rolling with the changes today. This weather is keeping me on my toes 😑🥵

All the braccys and some veterans to start the day early to avoid the worst of the heat. The humidity was still very present however. Today was also about introducing Hugo and Stitch to some more of the gang fresh from their holibobs. Bee was very pleased to see her bestie Stitch and Rosie was very welcoming 💞

Mid morning walkers in the woods, Webber enjoyed a nice bum drag on the leaves whilst Nellie did her best to pick up all the sticks. Huxley sounded the alarm but we were all unsure of what he was alerting us to 😅

Last walkers of the day and everyone had a nice, very much needed dip in the water. The temperature had really decided to pick back up so off we went to the water. Ziggy braved the bridge today which she has in the past been a little unsure of. The boys enjoyed hiding from her on the rocks 🪨

Tuesday Team ⭐

Tommy, Rico, Bruce, Boris, Bobby, Hamish, Nando, Dolly, Molly & Monty 🐾

Today was the day I decided it was time to test Tommy's recall in some woods. Very proud of him as he did exceptionally well! He had a wonderfully busy nose but not so busy as not to recall when asked. New place for him to walk and a little change up in crews which made a big difference. Rico and Bruce have great recall and were keen to show Tommy how it's done. Boris enjoyed having a stop at most trees for a sniff on the route whilst we put our hard work into practice 🌲

Last walkers of the day and we had a other lovely bimble through the woods. Bobby enjoyed chasing after Monty as he often feels the need for speed. Hamish stuck to a leisurely pace with the girls and Nando was keen to make Bobby's acquaintance 🤝

Monday Moochers 🌿

Cleo, Alfie, Dolly, Molly, Monty, Webber, Henry, Nellie, Bruce, Optimus, Bee, Milo, Rusty, Hamish & Aggie 🐾

Morning field jaunts to start our day. Lovely breezy walk with some great play from Cleo and Molly. Alfie enjoyed running after Cleo but not so much being chased. Dolly tried to roll on a dead mole which Alfie was most put out to miss his opportunity. Monty enjoyed letting off stream by going as fast as possible 🏃🏻‍♀️💨

Mid morning paddock fun and the hay was a massive favourite with everyone today. Both spaniards loved darting about through the tower of hay. Nellie was particularly fond of the old dry cut grass and enjoyed using it as a streamer. Bruce enjoyed jumping in the tub quickly followed by Bee 🛁

Finishing up with a nice cool walk in the woods. Milo loved submerging himself in the stream today, even Hamish got in for a little paddle. Aggie and Rusty were keen to pose on anything they could find 📸

The first of the consent forms have been distributed today so if you could have them filled out and ready for their next walks it would be much appreciated 🙌🏻

Friday Furries 🐶

Nellie, Teddy, Alfie, Rosie, Bonnie, Nando, Dolly, Molly & Monty 🐾

Another toasty one so off to the woods we went. Lovely walk at Plymbridge for our first walkers of the day. We bumped into a lady with her dogs who needed some space so space we gave them. Everyone's recall was brill and we cracked on with the walk. Nellie found a nice stick that Alfie made no qualms about telling her he'd actually like the sticks thank you please! 😂

Last walkers of the day and we spent it in some more woods with a nice bit of water to cool down in. Nando had a very busy nose today and enjoyed picking up the scents where as Molly enjoyed her usual roll on the ground. Grass, mud, water, she isn't fussy 🥹

Thursday Friends 💕

Henry, Rusty, Louie, Boris, Milo, Cleo, Rico, Penny & Hamish 🐾

True to form Henry brought his usual zest for life on the first walk of the day. He may in fact be the happiest soul on the planet. He's a joy to be in the presence of and his mood is infectious. Louie rejoined us after a bit of recovery from a small injury. He was happy to enjoy a more chilled walk and take in the scents with the rest of the boys club 🌿

Last walkers of the day and we headed to the woods as the temperature shot up. Doing my best Dora the explorer with my backpack of water in tow we stopped for a few water stops and had a very quiet walk which was lovely after yesterday's rather chaotic walk in the woods with the busloads of people 🙌🏻

Humpday Hounds 🐶

Ziggy, Penny, Bishop, Rico, Teddy, Milo, Webber, Nellie, Hamish, Aggie & Huxley 🐾

Paddock fun to start the day. Aggie made a friend in Huxley the sausage who will be moving from his early morning slot to the mid morning so that will be a nice little friendship in the making. Nellie loved having a game with Milo and chasing after him and the stick 🪾

Last walkers of the day and we received a compliment from the general public of how well behaved everyone was which was lovely. Penny did exceptionally well despite the utter chaos at shaugh prior today. It was so busy and there was a lot going on so for Penny it can be a little overwhelming. She did so well and stuck close and took everything in and watched her furry companions for social queues. The boys were a bit mean to Ziggy today and worked out if they jumped on the big rocks she couldn't chase them anymore 🥹

Tuesday Team ⭐

Tommy, Bruce, Webber, Bobby, Boris, Nando, Rico & Hamish ,🐾

No that's not a new member of the JB crew it's Boris with a spanking new haircut! Just in time for the muggy, hot weather! What a handsome devil he is and what an excellent jawline he has 😻 Boys club enjoyed a jump in the stream, if you were Webber a good roll in the wet grass, shrill car alarm type noises if you were Bobby gayly jumping through the grass after Tommy who's recall was insane today 🙌🏻

Finishing up with another trio of studs in the woods. We kept in the shade and had plenty of water for the three amigos should they want it. Clearly brought their game faces for pics today and gave me some of their best work 🫶🏻

Monday Moochers 🌿

Henry, Hamish, Aggie, Rico, Molly, Dolly, Monty, Cleo and Bruce 🐾

Up with the larks this morning to avoid the worst of the heat. I had my doubt about cancelling the last for today at the weekend with how overcast it became but definitely made the right call as it's absolutely piping now 🥵

We had a lovely breezy walk early this morning, Molly enjoyed a nice roll in the wet grass whilst Monty, Bruce and Cleo enjoyed jumping through it. Dolly declined the offer for a dip in the stream and was happy to watch on the bridge 🫶🏻

Last walkers of the day and we had some more field fun and a surprisingly overcast walk. Henry loved jumping though the long grass. Aggie got a case of the zoomies and Rico chucked himself in the water trough. We made a leisurely pace back to the van as the heat set in and got everyone home well before it became too hot 🔥
