🎵 it’s the shampoo countdown… 🎵

SIX new shampoo bars are dropping in TEN WEEKS!!! 😱😍🥳

Why ten weeks? Because there is a LOT that goes into a launch and we decided to go absolutely bonkers and release not one, but SIX new varieties 🤪 if you haven’t gathered already, we’re a little mad here. But hey ho, it makes life interesting!

We have made it our mission to add colour, fun and joy back into bath time 🤗 and our new bars really incorporate that. They’re bright, bold and absolutely incredible! P.S. THEYRE ALL SCENTED 🤤 🌺 🍬

Last week was the best and worst we have had since starting Woof and Snout. The feedback and launch of our new harness preorders was absolutely INCREDIBLE! And I am so genuinely grateful to this community 🫶🏻🥰 if it hadn’t had gone so well, what happened next would have been a lot harder to handle!

On Thursday we then had a delivery we were extremely excited for, when our new shampoo boxes arrived. We have been working on just the slightest change to our boxes, where the sizes are fully printed rather than Kraft 😍 the samples were amazing and we ordered five THOUSAND to get a kick start on Autumn 💪🏻 (not including the 6 new bars we still need to order the packaging for 😅 it’s genuinely terrifying the numbers we’ve been looking at!)

When our boxes arrived on Thursday, our excitement went from joy to tears. Due to a printing error, over half our boxes are unusable 😢 and of the usable ones, there is a degree of colour difference present in every box.

We do our best to be environmentally conscious, and so the boxes with a small amount of difference we will still be using. Unless you see them side by side you really don’t notice! But our oatmeal boxes look like they’ve been dipped in a tin of pink juice and so can’t be used at all 😂🤪

Luckily, we were already in negotiations with a lovely new Scottish factory for our new releases and they’ve taken on the task of replacing all the damaged boxes for us in the tightest timescale imaginable 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Unfortunately, the cost this has put onto our family business is HUGE and so far, we have had to absorb this cost 😢 which means our planned autumn releases have been reduced significantly. We are working to try and bring you all one or two snood designs, but at the moment this may not be possible 🌧️ or we may have to do just a tiny weekend-only launch, made to order.

In brighter, beautiful news. We received our photos back from the ever-talented and we are in absolute adoration at the pure talent shining through in every one! 😍 📸 the brief was to capture our bars on adventures, and she absolutely smashed it! 👏🏻

I cannot count the number of times we’ve been asked what events we are attending, where can people come to see us, do we have any stands anywhere…

And now the cat (or dog?) is out of the bag 🥳 we are attending Edition Dog Live in Coventry THIS MONTH!!! 🙌🏻

We are stand 250, right by the dog show arena. If you go to visit the show, you can’t miss us 💪🏻 and with how much work we’ve been putting into our stand design, I really hope you can’t miss us 🤪😂 ourselves, our pack, our incredibly talented illustrator and professional photographers have all been working round the clock to achieve the best stand we can for Woof and Snouts very first show 🤩

And we hope, this will be the start of many more to come!

So, so much. For making a small business owner so truly happy, grateful and overjoyed 🤩🥰!

July has been INCREDIBLE! ☀️ we’ve made hundreds of shampoo bars in the heatwave 🥵, met so many incredible new friends 🐕, had a smashing photography day to celebrate our new harnesses 📸, launched said harnesses (!!) 😍, become a limited company 👩‍💼, gained so many wonderful stockists from groomers to independent pet shops 🐾 and more!

And all alongside it you’ve all been there. You are all the reason this is possible and we are so grateful for each of your shares, messages, comments, likes, and of course, to every single person who has shopped with us 🥹.

Our clearance is still live until tonight, and my phone has been going a little bit bonkers all day to the point that this month has been our BEST MONTH YET 😭🫶🏻 words can’t even describe how grateful we are for this lovely community!

You always hope to go viral… maybe not in a tourists reel looking a little crazy at 8am… 🫣 but it was worth it for such a lovely launch!

When designing our collections, we are determined not to fall into the fast fashion trap 🙅🏻‍♀️ we’ve received countless requests for season-specific harnesses but as an environmentally-conscious company, we prefer for our harnesses to be designed to be worn all year round.

Flora was a harness we worked to design to be bold, bright and perfect for summer, whilst also being an incredible option to suit all the seasons. And, it was HARD 🫣 initially, this harness was supposed to have bright blue straps to match the smallest details. But, we felt the overall design was ‘too summer-specific’.

Now the straps match the stunning Dahlias in the body and the colours will add brightness and joy to even the darkest winter days. The dahlias will fit in perfectly with spring Flora and the hues are ideal for that gorgeous autumn glow, as demonstrated by the beautiful

🌊 WINDERMERE 🌊

The last of our three new harness designs 😍 how quintessentially perfect is this blue plaid? Perfect for both boys and girls. We’ve had requests for a true boys/unisex design and whilst we’re firm believers that boys can still wear pink, Windermere is just the perfect unisex design. One for the natural, traditional dogs who still want to make a statement 💪🏻 so far, this design has been the most popular with our pack!

Fun fact - Windermere is one of our favourite holidays with our oldest border collie, Callie. We had an incredible time exploring the Lake District together and it’s the only time she’s ever ignored her distaste for water and leapt right in to start swimming towards the ducks 🤦🏻‍♀️ turns out the ducks are much better swimmers than Callie and easily outran her 🦆😂

The second of our THREE new harness releases 🤩 when asked my vision for our harnesses, I have a set of themes in my mind for what I want to achieve with our collections. Quintessentially British, nature-inspired, explorer friendly, safe, magical and “to look as though an enchanted rainforest has thrown up on it”. Our new collection is inspired by the stories I read in my favourite books, and our truly beautiful British countryside. All our harnesses are designed to be beautiful to be worn and enjoyed all-year-round and to make a statement doing so 💪🏻

Plus an extra surprise… this collection will be available in sizes S-XL 🤩 meaning the largest of dogs can style them too! They are all strength tested and designed with safety in mind 😊

(XS harnesses have just finished development and are due in a separate style for our next release which has a size perfectly designed for small dogs)
