My Story
I am a lady with a big heart and strong drive to succeed in all that I do! I have been lucky enough to have animals in my life from the start, they have taught me a lot and still do to this day. I have had a wide variety of animals; hamsters, rats, rabbits, doves, ducks, chickens, cats, dogs, horses, tropical/pond fish, reptiles, etc. I'm not phased and enjoy learning more and more everyday.
I have a reward based style of training with my animals which sometimes involves a clicker but not limited to this. I use an enthusiastic approach to the positive (and desired!) behaviour and ignore the undesirable behaviour we are sometimes faced with. Making the right choice easy and the wrong choice more difficult.
I have worked with horses since I was 13 and moved to both horses and dogs when I was 15, working in a kennels. I trained with horses at several yards including Bedgebury Equestrian College where I worked/lived on site.
