Litter picking on Littlehampton Beach – A Dog’s Version
Yesterday, we organised for the Petributes team, their families and their dogs to do some litter picking on Littlehampton Beach.
Fuelled by a breakfast roll at the Littlehampton Beach café, the team got underway and after an hour of cleaning managed to collect five bags of rubbish!
Animals represent an important part of the planet’s biodiversity, but marine animals' lives are being threatened by ocean plastic and marine pollution.
The dogs that joined us certainly had a good time meeting each other and playing on the beach. Some even gave a helping hand picking up litter! We hope that now, thanks to this small effort, local aquatic life can enjoy time on the beach just as much as the team’s dogs.

Introducing Rick Willings tortoise Darwin 🐢
We've had Darwin for about 3 years now, and love him to bits, in good weather he has the whole of our garden to explore or wanders around the house. He was great company for me when I worked from home for a year due to covid, you could hear him shuffling along the kitchen floor. I used to hold the phone to him so customers could hear him making his way across the room. He loves having the back of his head scratched and enjoys a nice warm soak in his bath 🛁
