Darrington Dog Boarding Kennels is a small, family run, licensed dog boarding kennel set in 200 acres of private land in Darrington near Pontefract. � Our prices;
� £30 a day
� £45 a day - 2 dogs

A full days board is charged for the day of ARRIVAL and the day of DEPARTURE. If you have more than 1 dog and they need to be in separate kennels, you must inform us when booking your dogs in, you will b

e charged per kennel, £30. In the event of owners coming in later, or returning earlier, the FULL period for which the kennel is reserved will be charged. When making a booking we require a non refundable / transferable deposit to secure a kennel. The rest of the payment MUST be paid on ARRIVAL or prior to drop off (we accept all credit cards but not American express). We would prefer a bank transfer with your dogs name and date of arrival. If you cannot do a bank transfer you can pay over the phone.

If you are a new customer, please arrive before 4.30pm at latest as we have a brochure to be filled out.
*** UP TO DATE VACCINATION BOOKS ARE REQUIRED ON ARRIVAL *** or you can send a photo before hand on Facebook or WhatsApp. The vaccinations and dogs details must be shown on the same photo.
- if your dogs vaccination book is NOT up to date we cannot accept your dog into our kennels.
- we strongly recommend kennel cough vaccine but this is your own choice, it is not compulsory. We CANNOT be held responsible should your dog contact kennel cough.
- if you do not have your dogs up to date vaccination book contact ourselves prior to boarding as we would need you to obtain from your vet a confirmation of vaccinations in an email for our database. Owners leave their dogs or any items at their own risk, although please be assured that every care and attention will be given at all times. Any medication to be clearly labelled with your dogs name, owners name and dosage and enough medication to cover your dogs stay.

It's another emotional day here at the kennel. We have been informed that our beloved Toby has passed away a few days ago.💔

It was hard for all of us here to read the heartfelt message sent to us from Toby's family regarding his passing, he has stayed with us for years and we have enjoyed every single moment of seeing him full of delight and love while on his walks or playing in the kennel.

Toby's family during this time of heartache has charitably offered to donate his food, toys and treats so he can continue making a impact in all of our lives.

We will all miss you Toby, thank you for coming into both your family and our lives! We all adore you.

A fantastic review below from Choppers owners, it was Choppers first time staying in kennels and we are proud and overwhelmed by the response we received after his visit. We understand people have their doubts about leaving their beloved pets in kennels which is understandable when coming from a home environment. Here at Darrington Dog Boarding Kennels we take this onboard and guarantee to provide a service that's as close to their home comforts as possible.

A sad day was had yesterday by us all at Darrington Dog Boarding Kennels.

We have been informed that two of our beloved boarding dogs have passed away over the last few days, Boris (Left photo) and Tinker (Right photo)

Boris who has stayed with us since he was 5 month old who was just short of 12 years. He was a little character and brought many smiles and joy to all of us here and we loved having him stay with us. A few years later he introduced us to his companion and best friend Floyd who has just turned 8 today without Boris 😢

Tinker came to us stay with us along with her daughter Worthi. Tinker had made it to the age of 14 while dealing with an illness she got not too long ago. However she continued to battle on, bringing many a tear to our eyes with how incredible and strong willed she was to enjoy every moment with Worthi and their owners. Worthi is currently staying with us and we are ensuring shes felt loved with constant care and attention😢

We want to thank both of these dogs for coming into our lives and giving our days together joy and purpose as we couldn't do what we do without them and all our other boarding dogs.🐶🐾

We Send our love and thoughts to both families.

Kaiser and Trevor, two of our many amazing friendly giants have gone home after their stay with us. It is always such a pleasure to see the photos of them all knackered and resting after all their walks and fuss us staff give them!
