Canine Capabilities would like to welcome Mia to the team ππ₯°
Some of you may recognise her from her level 2 placement year with us. We are pleased to welcome Mia back on a voluntary basis with hopes to move onto paid employment in the near future ππΎ
Mia has achieved her Level 2 animal management companion (Merit). Level 3 Animal management companion. She is now doing her animal first aid course. All whilst building up her practical skills and experience in the industry ππ©βππΎ

πΆAll money raised at this event will go directly towards the animals we care for at our Animal Centre in East Ardsley. As a self-funded charity, we rely on fundraising events like this to help us continue to rehabilitate and rehome animals in need, giving them the second chance they deserve. This is our biggest event of the year and a brilliant day out for all the family, we hope to see you all there!

Fantastic training walk with Smudge and Oscar today ππ Two weeks ago, we couldn't get out of the gate on a loose lead! Now we're getting intermittent bouts of engagement and focus, and we will continue to build on and proof this behaviour πππΎ π Great job to their guardians! The hard work shows! πͺππΎ

Congratulations to Woody for completing his behaviour modification course π π₯³ π Woodys' main focus area's we're over arousal when people come to the house and reactivity towards dogs π Woody is now a million times calmer during in home interactions and has learnt many settling and self soothing skills! His social skills and reactivity are improving daily, and he's such a good boy! ππΎ
