We have some fantastic stalls, children's entertainment, hot food and drink, crafts and natural treats 🍔🍻🐶🥎🐾

We know just how hard it can be juggling the little ones, work and pooches during the school holidays. So we're hear to lend a paw.

What is a training walk? 🐕🐾

We take your pooch out on a 121 basis to implement training and behaviour modification specific to your requirements!

This is suitable for dogs who are currently or have previously received training from ourselves or another approved qualified trainer.

This can include;
✅️ Loose lead walking
✅️ Recall
✅️ Impulse control & basics
✅️ Socialisation
✅️ Appropriate interactions
✅️ Resource guarding
✅️ Working on reactivity & anxiety related behaviour

Our structured strolls are for clients who are ready to progress their training around distractions in small groups under the guidance of our trainers.

Throughout the session, you'll receive:

Canine Capabilities would like to welcome Mia to the team 😁🥰

Some of you may recognise her from her level 2 placement year with us. We are pleased to welcome Mia back on a voluntary basis with hopes to move onto paid employment in the near future 🐕🐾

Mia has achieved her Level 2 animal management companion (Merit). Level 3 Animal management companion. She is now doing her animal first aid course. All whilst building up her practical skills and experience in the industry 📚👩‍🎓🐾

This is a group course which is aimed at non reactive 6 month+ who have had some previous training 🐕‍🦺

The course covers a range of skills:

✅ Focus and engagement
✅ Improving existing skills with the 3 D's (Distance, Duration and Distraction)
✅ Appropriate onlead and offlead interactions with other dogs.
✅Tricks training
✅Impulse control - including advanced stays and waits.
✅ Interactive games
✅Recall arounddistractions
✅Emergency stops
✅General manners for your rowdy teenagers.

The course costs £180, lasts 6 weeks to take place at St Mary's Church South Elmsall

Next course starts 15th of July 6pm

🐶All money raised at this event will go directly towards the animals we care for at our Animal Centre in East Ardsley. As a self-funded charity, we rely on fundraising events like this to help us continue to rehabilitate and rehome animals in need, giving them the second chance they deserve. This is our biggest event of the year and a brilliant day out for all the family, we hope to see you all there!
