Meet Yogi. She had a bath with my hyper-sensitive shampoo, and a facial wash. I even managed to remove crusty bits from her eyes that had built up. Also a shoutout to those that have let me practice on your pooch, for free, either in College, or in my own house - without you guys, I wouldn’t be able to afford to get this grooming room. I have just ordered a deshedding tool and shed -control shampoo to help with those dogs who shed a lot. I just need some experience in how to deshed a double coated breed if anyone is interested. All I’m asking is for you to pay my usual £25 fee to cover costs, I’ll come out to you as I’m not ready for doing it from my place just yet. So I’m pleased to announce that I’ll be soon having a home garden room specifically for grooming at home - I should be up and running by the end of November. I’ll let you all know when I’m starting to take bookings. However, I’m still offering mobile grooms in the meantime. 🐶

So I’m going to be doing some charity fundraising for mayflower animal sanctuary if anyone wants to be involved. I’m trying to raise funds for them from sales of any of my items, but must be a doggy photo to participate. If you don’t have a doggy pic, then I have a range of doggy artwork available. 15% from each sale will be donated to mayflower. If you would like a dog printed, let me know the breed and I’ll see if I have the clip art, otherwise you can use your own doggy photo, just email it to me per-instructions on the website. I am so over-the-moon with this groom. First attempt at doing a full groom on my own away from college. The owner held her dog and I was able to do a great clipping. Meet Minnie. We did a bath and a dry, as well as different comb attachments on her body, face and feet. Also practiced a bit of scissor work. 🥰

Meet Amber. It took me awhile to de-mat her as she had some huge clumps of bur buried into the matting so I had to cut these out. I’m not at mayflower animal sanctuary until Tuesday 6th August, but if people on here have anything they would like to donate, I’ll message you with my address to drop off any donations, or I can come to collect if it’s in between my travelling to and from a dog walk throughout the week. Alternatively, you can either post your donation to me and I’ll pass it on, or post directly to them. With the success of my mobile nail clipping service this month, the start of next month, I’m going to be introducing a mobile standard groom service for only £25. Because I can’t at the moment offer a full groom service, my standard grooms will consist of a bath and a tidy only. Cleaning inside of ears, trimming excess fur underneath paws to prevent matting, brushing after bath to remove all matting, toe nail clipping, hygiene and sanitary trim, also tidy up around the eyes, Spray with doggy cologne. If anyone wants to be my first customer for my mobile standard groom which starts some point next month, please drop me a comment below so I can message you to get you booked in. Please note, all this will be done at your place, I’ll use all my own shampoos and equipment - I just need access to a bath and power supplies to run my dryer and trimmer along with a suitable area to work. Next week dog toenail trim dates available. Monday: after 4pm, Wednesday: after 3pm, Thursday: after 1:30pm, Friday: after 3pm. £5 until end of month. I can do mobile call-outs, included in the price, if local to Hemsworth, West Yorkshire - otherwise all nail trims are £10.

So I’ve got some big and exciting things happening in the next month or so. I’m not going to tell you what the massive thing I have planned, yet, and for those that I have told, please don’t comment any spoilers. But for now, I am planning on building myself a website where you’ll be able to book your required service or services and pay in full or leave a deposit. Also I’m hoping to beable to sync it with my calendar🤞🏻so you can check date and time availability. All to be decided on how everything will work.

I know I made it look easy, but believe me it hasn’t been 🫣. It’s taken me a long time to get to this stage so far with him. All of this is self-taught, I don’t have any dog training qualifications, it’s just things I have observed over the previous months while out on walks, and when out walking my other pooches, I tailor the walk around them. 🥰
