Hello all. Just an update to answer a few more questions that people have asked that might be helpful.

Do you provide food?
We would ask that the owner provides the dogs preferred for the duration of the stay. This is purely because every dog is different and may have allergies and preferences on food. It can be unsettling enough for dogs so keeping as much continuity is really important. We would ask about treats on their preference sheet.

Do you take any breed?
We would consider any breed but the house is limited in its space and we want all dogs to be comfortable so with larger breeds we'd need to understand their needs around space.

Do you take puppies?
Pups are always welcome yes.

Where will my dog sleep?
We try to keep to the dogs routine as much as possible so we’d ask for their bed if they have one and we’d locate that in our house in the same place you keep it at home.

Do you allow dogs on furniture?
The furniture is covered and regularly washed so if you allow them on the sofa at home we allow it here too!

Do you take more than one dog at a time?
If you have multiple dogs we would take them all and book out that time so no one else could schedule their own pooch in at the same time

Will my dog be around other dogs?
We do not have a dog at home and would not take other bookings during that time so your pooch would have us all to themselves!

Do you walk the dog?
Yes. We would keep to their normal routine but generally take them out morning, afternoon and evening for walks around Upton country park or if you prefer we could walk them a usual route that you have.

Do you administer medication?
Yes we would administer this as per your instructions

Are you insured?
Yes. Our policy covers a third party affected by your dog, but also protects us if we were sued by a customer.

Are you CRB checked?
Yes I have a current and clean criminal record check.

What if my dog gets ill while I’m away?
We would take details on your preference sheet of your chosen vet and follow your instructions on how to deal with a medical emergency

Can I get updates while I’m away?
Yes. We provide an update as frequently as you would like and would send videos and photos if that’s something you enjoy.

How long do you leave the dogs unattended?
Your dog would never be left alone in our home for more than a few minutes. I’m lucky that I am a contractor who works from my home office and would be with them all day and all night.

What about outside space?
Your dog would be kept indoors in poor weather (apart from walk times) but generally the back door to our enclosed rear garden is left open all day for them to come and go as they please.

What’s the cost?
We have a standard costs for:
- day care
- overnight stays
- feeds and walks at your address
- long stay discount
- multiple dog discount

As dog lovers we really do just want to provide a home from home so we take as much info from you at the initial stage to make sure that they are happy here and you can leave them safely in the knowledge that they are being lovingly catered to! Any dog is considered and whether they’re active zoomy beagles or tired and cuddly bulldogs we’d love to have them.

I’ve reared dogs my whole life and I am currently preparing my parents dog for Crufts. I’ve dog sat for countless people and I can provide references from all of them.
