A member of the public has brought in a female Maine C**n straying in the Porth area. She is microchipped but unable to contact the owner.

If you believe this to be your cat, please contact the practice on 01443 421212. Proof of ownership is required.

Merry Christmas to all of our lovely pets and owners!

We would like to thank everyone who has brought in nice treats for us... you have really kept us going in December!

Just a reminder that we close on Christmas Eve at midday and we will be re-opening on Friday 27th so today is the day to check that you have all of the medication you need for the Christmas period and give us a call if you need anything!

Stray Dog Alert ⚠️

A lovely female lurcher type dog has been brought to us this morning, found near the care home in the Ystrad area. Microchipped but details not up to date.

An unfortunately deceased cat has been found Trehafod Rd.

Female tortoiseshell cat with no chip or collar. We believe she was a young adult. She has been brought into our Treforest branch by a member of the public.

Do you know this cat?

This entire male was found straying in Wattstown and brought into our Treforest branch. There is no chip

Unfortunately he was extremely unwell and so we had to make the difficult decision to put him to sleep on welfare grounds.

An update on OOH coverage due to the flooding - OOH and emergency cover has been diverted to Park Vets and VetsNow Newport. Please ring the usual numbers if necessary and you will be diverted. Stay safe in this awful weather!

URGENT UPDATE- VALLEY VETERINARY HOSPITAL CLOSED DUE TO FLOODING

Due to the current weather conditions we have had to make the decision to close our hospital site. We will still be operating an emergency service from Park Vets, Sanatorium Road, Cardiff, CF11 8DG

All current inpatients and team members have been evacuated safely.

Our phone lines have temporarily been diverted to VetsNow, Newport, who will be providing emergency cover whilst we relocate our team safely.

Stray dog!

A dog has been brought into us this morning at our Tonypandy branch but unfortunately we have been unable to contact the registered owners on the microchip. Do you recognise this adorable pooch?

Proof of ownership is required.
