We are looking for someone to join our team! Please read this post carefully before applying

We are a busy boarding kennels & cattery with high standards and an excellent reputation that must be upheld at all times

You must be committed and passionate about caring for & working with a variety of breeds & types of dogs and cats - some may be challenging! The right candidate needs to be enthusiastic, hardworking, reliable, have common sense and a willingness to learn. The role includes exercising dogs, cleaning and feeding dogs & cats and ensuring their health and well-being is looked after at all times. You will also be expected to undertake other kennel/cattery associated tasks.

We are looking for a caring & consciousness individual. Someone who is trustworthy, confident and will instill confidence with our customers that their pets are in the best hands whilst with us

Days & number of hours each week to be decided, will include some weekend work. Shifts: 7.45am-12.30pm & 3pm-6pm

Salary is dependent on age & experience. Holidays are not permitted during school holidays. Own transport essential

The successful candidate will ideally have the following:

⭐️Practical & caring approach to animal welfare

⭐️Previous experience of a kennels or working with animals - not essential but preferable

⭐️Confidence with dog handling & knowledge of dog behaviour

⭐️Excellent communication skills not only with our customers but with your team members also

⭐️Ability to work well under pressure, accept constructive criticism and deal with mentally challenging situations whilst remaining calm

⭐️Ability to work as a team or as an individual

⭐️Be prepared to work hard (and in all weathers) - looking after animals is not a 9-5 job & is physically demanding
