⚠️We are just wanting to spread awareness of dogs wearing this or a similar lead. If you see a dog with a yellow lead it’s more then likely a warning for you to please help your dog give us space whilst we are passing or nearby.

She was a very good girl today but was definitely ’tested’ by a couple of dogs who were offlead and their owner not recalling them back. I explained the meaning of the lead to the owner and they had no idea about it. Our priority as always is to keep everyone safe and happy and we will keep spreading this awareness to others, so everyone has an enjoyable walk! 🐾

Happy Christmas 2024! We can’t believe how quick this year has gone, we’ve added lots of new dogs to the Ubark pack and have sadly lost a few of our precious dogs 🌈 We are continually grateful to you all and can’t thank you enough. We are very much looking forward to 2025 and we hope you are too! Team Ubark 🐾

‘It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later!’ 🥲
This week we said ‘see you later’ to our beloved Trixie, as she moved out of Dorset!
Trix was one of my first clients when I started at Ubark (and one of my Luna’s first ever doggy pals, influencing her to become the social butterfly that she is today!) Since joining us she’s become more like a family member - I think my own dogs genuinely see her as their sibling! She is going to be SO missed, but we wish her and her humans all the best in their new adventures and we have everything crossed 🤞 that our paths cross again in the future!

This is a post dedicated to a very, very special boy.

As a lot of you know last month we unexpectedly lost a member of the Ubark family, our dog Cedar, in a road accident.

I wanted to thank everyone for their kind messages and understanding as life seemed to pause for a while afterwards. I also wanted to share some of my favourite photos of Cedar having the time of his life with his best friends.

Thanks to all of you guys and Ubark, Cedar had quite a lot more pals in his short life than the average pup, and boy did he love every single one of them with his whole entire heart. Every day was an adventure with him, and being able to share those adventures with your dogs is something I’ll be grateful for forever.

We miss him an unfathomable amount, I didn’t know it was possible to feel as empty as I did the weeks after we lost him, but having an emotional support group of the most wonderful four-legged friends and their humans has been instrumental in helping us carry on. I just wanted you all to know how much I appreciate that.

There’s a saying from a book called The Canine Commandments that has always stuck with me:‘Everyone thinks they have the best dog in the world, and none of them are wrong’. Since working for Ubark I’ve loved this quote even more, and believe it to be completely true. Every dog I walk is reminded of this each time I see them, and treated like the best dog that they are. Cedar was the best dog and there is nothing on earth that I wouldn’t give to be able to tell him that one more time.

Hug your dogs extra tightly and please never forget to show them just how loved they are, because they really are the best.

Hello! Just want to say a huge thank you for all your understanding whilst I’m off work and still recovering from the accident.

I’m missing all the dogs so much and really cannot wait to get back to walking them again soon. It’s so important to me that I’m feeling 100% safe and healed enough to walk your dogs so as to make sure they’re as safe as possible whilst with Ubark. Currently I still feel unable to walk dogs, I can walk for an hour or so now which is great but I worry about walking dogs on lead as I may get pulled over in all their excitement! 🤪 I will continue to keep you up to date but I’m resting lots to hopefully recover as quick as possible!
