WARNING

Hi everyone

Just a bit of a warning post to all that use CANFORD PARK SANG to please be extra careful of that very very dangerous river

Over the past couple of years several dogs have died after being washed away, which has left owners & dog walkers alike heartbroken.

(I no longer go there)

Today a friend sent me a picture of a goat that had died after drowning and getting stuck in a tree in this river at the SANG!

I have sent the park a message on Facebook to raise my concern about this only to be blocked from their page entirely with no response from them!

It is supposed to be a dog friendly and safe place to go but it is far from this! All I’ve asked in the past is that they put more signage up to warn people of how strong the river is but they will not do this.

Please, please, please go extra careful when taking your dogs anywhere near that terrible river as The Stour has taken many lives over the years
