I’m sure most people now know that Henry Feilden (veterinary surgeon) will be retiring on 1st December 2023 and Poole Road Vet Surgery will be closing down. After some alterations a new veterinary referral centre is planning to open in spring 2024.

We are aware there has been a rush for clients to register at new practices - please note that we will still be able to access and forward on your pets’ clinical notes for some time to come - they will need to be requested by email and the email address will be available on our website and also as a recorded message on our phone line. At the moment we have a backlog of histories to send!!

Here is a piece that was in the Echo yesterday.

Are you buying a puppy? Then you can’t afford not to sign up to our Pre Puppy package. We have lots of resources to help you to navigate the first step of Raising Pawfection. There is nowhere else that provides a single point for all the information needed to raise the bestest dog that others can only dream of having!

Better than a book as we also have some great videos to help you. Plus you can ask me any questions. All included in the very low, cancel any time, membership fee. You don’t get this amount of help in any book.

Join the Raising Pawfection movement! We have never had so much dog aggression in the U.K. I believe this can be avoided and starts at the beginning - before you even get your puppy!

We can do this together!

Update - owner found! You will be as amazed and delighted as we are that the (original) owner of Coolio has contacted us - we have confirmed it is his cat WHICH HAS BEEN MISSING FOR 10 YEARS!! After a death in the family the cat was looked after by a family member, and unfortunately went walkabout. Last week the owner spotted this cat’s unusual name on Facebook and contacted us. Thank you everyone for sharing - they are now reunited 🎉🐾

We are trying to find the owner of this cat which was brought in to us on Tuesday. He was found in someone's garden in the High Street area of Poole and has been visiting there on and off for several weeks. He is a neutered male, good weight, microchipped but phone number not recognised and email not responded to. His microchipped name is "Coolio". Could the owner please contact us asap on 01202 764407.

There are so many goodies for us at Christmas time but many of them are baddies for our dogs... we hope this helps remind you of some of the festive foes for the four-legged family members...
