We’ve had some boarding visitors in the bunny shed!

First off we had Hugo & Pickle - Hugo used to live with me, he went to a new home earlier this year to hopefully bond with a new companion and now he’s best friends with Pickle! Just look at those ears, how could you not love her! They are so sweet to watch. Hugo loves to give her kisses near her eyes bless him 🫶🏻

Next we have Gus - formally known as Max when he lived with me. He’s a cheeky chap who loves snoozing on a nice cool tile ontop of his wooden house. He loves parsley as you can see from the last photo! 🥬

I love seeing buns again who used to live with me & their new friends, it makes me so happy. Thank you so much to those who choose to have their bunnies stay with me 🤍

LOLA & OTIS 🤍

A new space for the newly bonded duo.. 🫶🏻
It’s been a long time coming but we got there in the end. They should really be a trio & Mae should be here with them but sadly the universe throws us the biggest curveballs yet we just have to carry on. They bonded so well and I’m super proud of them both. Otis has loved Lola & Mae since the moment he was put in a pen next door to them. I think he’s been waiting for the day I’d put them together! Not a lot of sleep over the last 5 days but it has all been worth it! Seeing them together makes me so happy, Otis has wanted someone to snuggle for so long & Lola missed having a snuggle buddy. I hope you guys like their new space! Things will be added as time goes on I’m sure but for now, I’m very proud of myself & the buns. Go us 👏🏻🤍

I’d just like to note that my Lia & Mae didn’t pass due to the same reasons. Lia’s was due to her heart sadly and Mae had a blockage in her tummy that would need surgery which she just wasn’t well enough for. Unfortunately, they decided it was their time to go in the same month 😔🤍

I can’t believe I’m writing this. 20 days after loosing Lia I loose you. You were such a special girl. From the moment I saw you as a baby I knew you were staying with me. Those patterns on your back were so unique just like you. Always first to take a barley ring, your mummy Lola could never beat you! She will miss her best friend so much, you two were always together. Thank you for being a fantastic mummy to your little singleton baby. Thank you for being an amazing bunny I had the pleasure of looking after.
The shed won’t feel the same without you, Mae. I will miss you so much.

This is hard for me to post but I will be looking to rehome some of my buns again. Due to my work hours and just life I am finding it very hard to juggle all 10 of them.

I would like to keep one or two so they can have a lovely big space in the shed to themselves but I don’t know who exactly yet. I just wanted to put it out there if anyone was looking for a lovely bun. They really are all amazing and special so I would like the best homes for them 🫶🏻

• BOARDING YOUR BUNS WITH ME! •

Hello everyone!
I just wanted to pop on and say that I am still boarding buns this year 🫶🏻
I have space for one or two bunnies in a pen inside my bunny shed, which has a heater for the colder days.

I currently have Cleo staying with me, the lovely Gus booked in already for August and April 13th - 19th I am away.

Night two was a success. Little bit of hu***ng from Otis at the start of the night but nothing major and nothing after that. I managed to get a decent amount of sleep!
They ate pellets together twice and all been munching on hay together. There’s been lots of snuggles and grooming so hopefully we will have a bonded group of 4 by the end of the week! I will be expanding their pen again this afternoon if everything stays this way 🤞🏻🤍

Update:
It was going really well until the middle of the night. Unfortunately I had to remove Hugo from the group. Last night he kept hu***ng the others which caused circling between them all which I was expecting. I did leave them to figure things out themselves a few times, however he didn’t seem to settle from this point. When it came to hu***ng Otis, a fight started which ended up with Otis being hurt - blood drawn.
With Hugo’s past with his brother (to which I don’t know the full extend, I just know they had a fight & Hugo was hurt which is why he has a scarred lip) I knew he would be cautious of the others in a group. I don’t think a group scenario is best for him from what I witnessed. I do feel bad for removing him but he seems a lot happier out of the group and I need to do what’s best for the others too.

So for now I’ll focus on Lola, Mae, Flo & Otis. They are getting on really well so far, they’re all asleep right now next to each other 🤞🏻🤍

These gorgeous sisters, Leeloo & Tulie were the last buns to board with me while their bunparents were away for 3 weeks on holiday! They were such a joy to have and settled so well. The fact they travelled a few hours from London to stay with me makes me so happy & appreciative 🫶🏻🤍

Honestly, a big thank you to anyone who chooses to have their buns board with me when they are away. I love seeing them all & honoured you trust me with your bunnies. Thank you x

3 years ago today I lost you my little man.. I miss you snoozing away on your little bed. I miss you jumping up and nudging me for a cuddle. I miss you putting little holes in my duvet (which I still use now as it reminds me of you) I miss you binkying around my room. I wish you could of stayed by my side for longer as you helped me in so many ways, more than I thought an animal ever could. I love you forever. The clouds will always have a very special bunny up there ☁️🤍

BUNNY SHED UPDATE…

Ollie is back down in the shed again after his neutering op & healing 🤍
He was healing in my room just so I could get the section done where his pen normally goes & safe to say I’m very happy with the progress!! Filled in the skirting & bits today, did few more coats of paint on the door/white walls on the right and popped another shelf up! Still need a few touch ups of paint here & there, under the door needs a bit of vinyl & skirting but honestly I’m really happy with what I’ve done (with the help of my v good friend) in my week off work.

My dream bunny shed vision is coming to life 🫶🏻💭

So last year I had the pleasure of having a few of my buns back with me while their bun parents were on holiday! I really enjoyed seeing them again & looking after them for a week or so and would like to continue with this! I have Max (remember him hehe - now called Gus - so cute) coming back to me to board for 10 days in July.

So, I have one space at a time for one or two buns in my shed to board with me throughout the year! They will be in a large size pen which has vinyl flooring. You will need to provide food, toys, litter tray etc but I will cover veggies along with my buns veggies! Please pop me a message if you’d be interested in having your buns board with me, especially if you got your bunnies from me, it’s so nice to see them again!

BUNNY SHED UPDATE 🤍

All hutches have now gone!!!! Eek. The second pen has been finished and split into two for now until all bonded. Ollie is in the temp pen. Painting needs to be done on the wall where Ollie’s pen is (after the remaining plasterboard is taken off) and other little bits needs to be painted white. There will eventually be a sofa where Ollie’s pen is and shelves above with cute decorations, fairy lights etc. There will be vinyl on the other half of the shed floor too ofc! So pleased with how it’s coming along, I drew a plan of this about a year ago and to see it finally coming together feels so nice. I can’t wait for the buns to be bonded (hopefully eek) and have a nicer place to binky, snooze n play🤞🏻🤍
