This years venue for the Northern Ireland Ploughing match is on land kindly granted by Hunniford Farms, Gilford on 27th & 28th September 2024.

This year is will see top class ploughing, tractor pulling, trade stands and more. Details to follow 🚜💪🏻

Great practice day with a few of our members on land kindly granted by the Richardson Estate. The sun shone and we even had a few spectators 🐑🐑 special thanks to head coach Dermie for organising the day.

We were delighted to hand over a cheque for £1016.90 to the Air Ambulance Northern Ireland from our voluntary collection on the day of our ploughing match. 🚁

Our 105th match will be held on the Stramore road on land kindly granted by the Gilpin family this Saturday 25th February. Ploughing starts 10.30am. Plots will be judged on points. Split opening will also be judged.

Directions to site will be sign posted from both the Portadown and Gilford side. 🚦

All competitors needing to unload can park in the Mill Farm down the lane at the white bridge.

Unfortunately the weather has beaten us again and site conditions mean we have to cancel the match this Friday. 😞

Mullahead Ploughing Match will now run this Friday 11th March. Entries from the original date will be carried over, however if you are unable to attend please let us know so your plot can be re-assigned.
