Mullahead & District Ploughing Society will be holding our 106th Annual ploughing match on Saturday 15th February 2025🙌🏻 Land kindly granted by John Anderson at Portadown

We will not be having any trade stands or our usual visitor attractions. There will also be no tractor pulling this year.

What a weekend! That’s all the ploughing over for another while. Congratulations to James Coulter and Andrew Gill who are Northern Ireland Qualifiers for the World Ploughing Championships in Czech Republic next year and Andrew was overall NI Champion both days. Congratulations to Dan Donnelly, ROI, who won the Reversible Class, Sean Keating, second and Gary Simms third, ROI who were second in the Conventional class. Congratulations also to Adrian Jamison who was third in the Reversible class.

Congratulations to William Gill who was overall winner in the Vintage class; David Grattan second and Cyril McGuinness third;Alan Simms, ROI, winner of the Classic class with Nigel Gamble coming second and Robert Acheson third, Classic Class.

Weigh bridge opens at 8.00am

First pull 10am or sooner

Good range of tractors entered in all different classes.

Tractor pullers enter the gate off the Gilford-Lurgan Road.

All spectators enter via the Hunterhills Road the same as today.
