Well that’s another year come to a close here at Beau Chien. 🐶. We are absolutely privileged to spend each day with your dogs, loving them, making them clean and posh for you all. They all mean the absolute world to us. Thankyou all yet again with trusting us with your precious babies. 🐶🐶.

We’ve again laughed together and cried together but we have all done this because we love the dogs so much. 💖

This year yet again we have been so so sooooo spoiled with Christmas gifts from you all. We are humbled and so very grateful. You’re all so very generous. Thankyou. 🥰

Please all of you have a wonderful Christmas period, kiss all your dogs heads for me and see you all in 2025 when we can do it all again.

Hi everyone. So weve decided to ‘step into Christmas’ in the salon . Some may say it’s a little early but we like the little bit of cheer seeing Christmas lights and decs can bring. 🎄. ( it was cold enough to be Christmas today too wasn’t it ) . Lots of our fur babies just had trims so they stay toastie in this weather!

Also a good friend of mine is coming in tomorrow to bring more cheer in the form of doggy Christmas hand made crafts.

BEAUTIFUL FRANK UPDATE

I wanted to let you all know there’s a very happy ending for Frank. I found him the most wonderful perfect family and Frank went last Sunday to Somerset to start his new life . We’ve met the family, we are all in constant contact with daily pictures and pupdates and he’s doing well. He’s going on lovely forest walks, has new toys and a new family who love him already. I’ve been completely invested in finding Frank the right home, shed way too many tears over him as he’s a precious boy and of course tears for his last mummy and daddy who miss him but it’s a happy ending for them too, This is all they prayed for. You go Frank, we love you boy 💙

I’ve just had to call the blue cross for help rehoming Frank the Jack Russell . I truly didn’t want him to go into the rescue system. He will hate it so much. 😢. He belongs to 2 elderly customers of mine. He needs a new mummy and daddy who will give him love. Frank is dog reactive tho so can’t be rehomed with other dogs or families with small children. . He’s 5 years old, good on the lead, clean in the home, loves walking, good in the car but needs a new home quickly as his parents are very poorly . Please share this for me if you know of someone responsible and wanting a Frank. I groom him and walk him so know this little boy well. Please inbox me if you have any questions. 🥰🐶

UPDATE ON FRANK! PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE CONSIDERING FRANK FOR YOUR HIME!

So today I met with a lovely family , who had another resident dog. We went to a field, an open space to meet, however Frank, who’s not been socialised properly having only lived with elderly folk wasn’t hot on manners and it didn’t go so well. We walked and walked and Frank soon got the hang of ‘not barking at the other dog’. As any ‘doggy person ‘ would know all our dogs are better at meeting other dogs off lead when they have freedom to do dog things and use manners but I believe frank hasn’t had the chance to do this. It’s clear now that Franks needs are as follows :

He needs a home as an only dog. ( while out with the dog walker he was truly fine … he was walked with mine !)

He needs to be homed by someone knowledgeable about dogs , not a new doggy parent !

Someone prepared to put the work in to meet Franks needs , lots of walks, plenty of love and stability and someone who’s going to give him time to flourish and teach him nice things

He’s so lovely , too lovely to end up back in doggy rescue 💔

This lovely lady rescued him from Stubbington Ark around a year and half ago. I have always groomed him every 6 weeks and he also gets walked by my own dog walker nearly every day.

It’s a tragic story about gorgeous Frank needing to be rehomed, but it needs to be as soon as we can.

I have lots of videos of him out walking with my dogs tho that I’m more than happy to share with you if you inbox me.

I simply CANNOT bare the thought of him going back into the ark. He’s such a lovely boy that needs help NOW!

I would say he needs to be with someone who loves to go out walking, doesn’t have young children…. ( he’s not been tested with children) and someone who wouldn’t give up on him. 🥹. He’s a confident little boy, loves a cushion and a lap to curl up on and he’s desperate to find his forever home 🏠

Someone special is coming to the Beau Chien salon in October. Sophie bell is an amazing Vet but also holds invaluable first aid courses for dogs. She travels around the UK and on Sunday 13th October she’s coming to Beau Chien for the day! I’ve been to her courses to obviously keep my updated certificate for Beau Chien but this is open to all you lovely doggy mums and dads , groomers in the area and whoever else you’d like to bring if they own or look after dogs.
