My last Ex queen born 27.07.2022 looking for home. I will not have any new cats/ kittens for some time now.

She is a black silver tabby Maine C**n and her name is Rea she is already spayed . She is petite girl (but that can change after spaying as her siblings are 7kg and more) she is shy after everything she been thro with her first and only litter where kittens where undeveloped and died . My older (not spayed girls) are little harsh on her and after all that she need little more time to bond and trust new human but when she bond she will give all heart for new human . I have her for little more then a year. She like other cats and is looking for love from them. She is on raw and it is something I would love to be continued as every change of food can make stomache and p**p problems. She can be indoor only or with secure catio. I am located in Scotland and I am happy to transpor her to new home in Scotland (just for fuel cost) If you have more question about her please just ask. Adoption fee will apply x

Update: Dulcie found her home ❤️ she will join Sarah F. in May.
REA still looking and will be ready in June after she will be spayed.

This is not the post I wanted to write but no matter as much I wanted to make everything work, life write its own scenario. In those few years a lot hapened with my cats and with my life what was not planed. Unfortunately for now I will not continue my cattery journey. Hopefully I will be back to it in some time when everything will be sorted and I will be ready again to give my all and try again in future.

For now I am still looking for home (adoption fee will apply ) for my already spayed and reafy to go ex-queen Dulcie from Madelven Maine C**ns Family & Friends and for one more ex-queen Rea from cattery in Poland ( she will be spayed in coming months). those two girls was not lucky with their pregnancies unfortunately and both lost babies. It is part of reasons as it hit me to hard to continue everything for now.

HOW MUCH??

POTENTIAL OWNER: How much is the kitten?
BREEDER: £1200-£3500
POTENTIAL OWNER: What?? It's way too expensive!!
BREEDER: What do you think would be a reasonable price?
POTENTIAL OWNER: No more than £800. You breeders are so overpriced.
BREEDER: I am sorry you see it this way; why don't you try it yourself?
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I've never done it!
BREEDER: For FREE, I can teach you how to do it, and you will also have the knowledge to do it again.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Perfect, thank you!
BREEDER: To start, you will need a female(average minimal cost £3000 and up). Also, a male(average minimal cost £3000 and up). You will need to show them to their championship to show they meet the breed standard (Minimal £300 each with travel & fees). You will need to do genetic & health testing on them, which averages about £550+ per cat. Raise and provide daily care, feeding & grooming for 1,5 years. (So a minimal £150 per month)
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I don't have that much money...

BREEDER: For £800, you can raise a litter for me and then keep one of the kitten. Obviously, you also have to pay the cost of whelping & care.
POTENTIAL OWNER: I can do that.
BREEDER: OK, so I have a female due to whelp in 2 weeks. You will need to be available 24/7 around the clock for at least 14 weeks to help with delivery and care. Possibly tube or bottle-feed kittens every 2-3 hours if the mom is low on milk the first couple weeks.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Fourteen weeks?? It's way too much time for me! I have to work.
BREEDER: You will also need the reproductive vet to do X-rays (£200-£500), possibly progesterone testing(£75-£250) & a C-section(£1000-£3000), and initial vet care on the kitten until old enough to be placed. Kitten vets exams and two sets of vaccines (£200 and up, depending on how many kittens are in the litter)
Have on hand a scale, thermometer, latex gloves, sanitizer, absorbent tissues, scissors, hemostats, heating pad, whelping box, blankets, cleaning supplies, appropriate food with supplements for mothers, formula, medications & hand feeding supplies in case of emergency...
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I don't have all these things!
BREEDER: For £1000 you can buy them.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Ummm .... You know, I think it might be better if I just buy a kitten.
BREEDER: Wise decision.

For us breeders there are no vacations or holidays; while you go to visit with family & friends, we are home at our cats' side caring for them. It is a no breaks commitment.

This wasn't the post I wanted to write but unfortunately we can't predict the future. So my big beautiful boy Zaphiro will be neutered in two days because one of his eggs didn't drop so he can't be used as a breeding cat. I have also made the decision to give him a loving new home where he will play as lap cat. I already have the first two neutered MC boys, so unfortunately I don't have room for another neuter. He will be looking for a new home some time after surgery when my veterinarian gives me the green light to go. If you are intrested, please write and tell me something about yourself and where you live. I wish it was in Scotland so I could carry him to his new home myself.

Today I want to write post about my beautiful furrr doughter Abbi Leone Grande Maine C**n Cattery UK

Happy Birthday my gorgeous girl. Keeping you was the best decision ever. From 14 day off age she was feed by me for few weeks. I was woried she will not make it as her brother pass having only few weeks after fighting with infections from mums milk. And from then she gives me cuddles every day, just jumping on me when I am near and lots of kisses and always besides me when I clearing litter tray to make sure I take everything 🤣🤣.

My beautiful Haga from Mańkowska

She is classic tabby which for me is the most beautiful colour pattern and there is something wild in their look.
